It is a large station with many amenities to cater to a large group of commuters. There are many entrances to allow commuters the ease of access from different locations such as the mall or the ground floor. There are usually a lot of commuters here transferring to the downtown line. Overall, a great station layout.

I like Bukit Panjang LRT Station because it has a features of Bukit Panjang LRT Signals which is colour in red, white & green (Swarco Futura Fahrrad Kleinsignalgeber from European Countries). This was also marks the SIngapore's first ever signal to be installed since 1999. Years ago, they uses the old green signals and replaced by aquamarine in 2016 (Platform 2) to 2020 (Platform 1). Last year, I've started to take photographs of Bukit Panjang LRT rail coloured signals as I was being obsessed. These signals were made by Swarco Futura Fahrrad Kleinsignalgeber which currently used in Australia (Perth), European countries (Including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Lavita, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Pristina, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & United Kingdom), Malaysia [Kuala Lumpur], Qatar [Doha], Saudi Arabia [Riyadh], Singapore [Woodlands Checkpoint, Woodlands Police Division Headquarters, Police Cantonment Complex Restricted Area & Bukit Panjang LRT Line], Syria [Damascus], Thailand [Bangkok & Chiang Mai] & United Arab Emirates [Dubai]). These signals were similar to Swarco Futura Fahrrad Kleinsignalgeber, Carpark & Cycle Signals from European Countries (Including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Lavita, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Pristina, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & United Kingdom).

Pretty good experience with the highly sought-after, grand prize of the LRT TRACK-WALKING tour. Not many people get to experience stepping on the tracks! If you like the old Bukit Timah railway tracks, you may enjoy this. You get to enjoy the beautiful sights of HDBs in Bukit Panjang, on the tracks. ALL FOR FREE! A 'train-fault' announcement will be made in all LRT stations to congratulate the winners of their track-walking tour. It will even be published in major news & media publishers on the details of the event including the exact start and end time, winning station, and the number of winners on the tram. The company will even tweet about it. Really felt like a special snowflake. Security-wise is really best. No other tours can match this. You are treated like a VIP. They engage the SCDF as a precautionary measure which really puts your mind at ease. They have medical teams on standby. They have staff escorts. It's really the full security squad! Free regular bus & bus bridging services are available at the next station but why the rush? Enjoy the experience and tell your friends! If you are not lucky enough to experience the event, fret not! They traditionally hold 'train fault' events as a consolation prize to simulate an unreliable tram system. But the experience is not that great as you are just waiting on the tram. But who knows, it can turn into the grand prize! For some reason, the company will apologize, saying they strive to do better after every event. I have never heard a company apologize so often. Even more than my ex. Verdict: Though it seems great, there are still some shortfalls. No schedule is available. So you don't know when the tour will begin. Long waiting time: It takes about 30 mins to begin the tour, as the staff needs to walk on the tracks over to the tram. They will open the doors to welcome you No ventilation in the train, pretty uncomfortable Not wheelchair friendly, but do help others in need It can be quite hot during the tour so best to bring an umbrella Not recommended for - the faint of heart - those with fear of heights - those who are rushing for appointments
