Clinic assistants are outright rude. I saw them speak nicely to an American, sharply to Singaporeans, and to domestic helpers or other foreign workers, they're outright nasty - raise their voices, very sarcastic. Prices on the high side. Avoid if possible.

Came during COVID period and instead of taking temperature when you enter the clinic, they only take your temperature right before you go into the consultation room. This means you could be waiting some 30-40 minutes in the small waiting area with all the other patients without having had your temperature checked - which defeats the purpose of running a temperature check to make sure one has no COVID symptoms.

Rude and unhelpful receptionist. Incompetent and unable to explain the difference between a $52 and $62 ART test. Only thing she could say was for me to go to the clinic to find out. Furthermore, Covid testing costs are higher than what is indicated online. Suggest going somewhere else to avoid such poor customer service

My family's doctor for the last 15 years. The other comments are right about the nurses: they are very folksy. Dr Kwee is great. He's friendly, knows my family well and takes an interest in our lives beyond the ailment of the day for which we visit him. Very happy to have him in our neighbourhood.

It is a very bad place. Never going to go there. I took an appointment to do a PCR test at 8.30 am. I reached there on time but they kept me waiting till 10.15 to do the test. I am not sure what is the point of an appointment if you have to wait nearly 2 hrs to do a 5 minute test. They seem to have a favoration towards caucasian people. They treat them better. Two people came after me to get a PCR test and they perform the test before me and let them leave early. They seems racist as well. Price also seem higher. And they do the temperature checking just before see the doctor but people have to wait in a small waiting room for long time before seeing the doctor without even checking the temperature. I am really disappointed about this place. This is the closest clinic to my place but I am more than happy to visit another clinic instead this.

I've always find the nurses unprofessional and very nasty. On good days they treat me, a Singaporean Chinese better, otherwise they are just plain rude. I also see how they are consistently talking down to the foreign domestic helpers. They even talk bad about the patients openly in dialect. Although the Doctor is fine, but I'll advise anyone to avoid this clinic. There are some more clinics nearby in coronation plaza. The last thing you want is to pay and deal with rude nasty nurses when you are not feeling well. I am also not sending my helper there for regular checkups anymore too. They don't deserve to be talked to that way! *Updates (July 2022): I've heard that the clinic has changed the whole team of nurses to new ones recently. So I decided to check it out myself. I went there and it is true! They have a brand new team of nurses now, who are very polite and attentive. They speak professionally even to the domestic helpers and wishes every patient a blessed day before they leave. It was a pleasant visit to the Dr this time for me (at last since I moved to this neighborhood 7yrs ago!). No more grouchy nurses! :)

Really awful receptionists and nurses, terrible service. Dr David Kwee's bedside manners honestly isn't much better (δΈŠζ’δΈζ£δΈ‹ζ’εΌ―). I went for a PCR-test here recently for travel, and the place is as bad as I remembered from prior bad experiences. Recent experience: 1. receptionists quoted $200 for PCR and got rude and defensive when I asked if this was prevailing market rates (edit: no, it is significantly higher). 2. insisted I must sign a form indemnifying them of test results if test was done too early for travel (even after I showed them the country rules published online). Keep repeating they are not responsible if I made a date calculation error. At no time did I suggest they would be. 3. worst PCR test experience to date. Dr Kwee was so curt and abrasive when taking the swab that my nose started to bleed. 4. had to check in with and chase the clinic like mad to get my results. I took my test on Day1 early morning and received results on Day3 evening. The clinic didn't even bother to inform me when my results were finally in. Avoid this place at all cost. I don't understand why they are even in the healthcare business. They obviously don't treat their patients with respect or dignity, and are impolite and inconsiderate.

I have be going to this clinic since I was a child when it was run by the current Dr Kwee's parents. They were fantastic and caring. It seems like the receptionists were probably from that time too. Anyhow, not had great experience with this clinic from the rude receptionists, to being way overcharged. And very often, only the locum is there. This Dr Kwee is not even very attentive. Often I'm the one telling him what I need looked at and what medication is necessary. My father has been going to this clinic for at least six decades yet they still insist on his NRIC and Pioneer card each time he goes to collect medicine, and cash only. Is it required by law? Anyway it's poor service. Also, despite having the Pioneer card where other clinics charge pioneer patients under $10 for a consult and medication, he is routinely charged $30 or more before adding medicine, so I wonder how much is being deducted from his pioneer account? His medication cost $100+ for a 6 month supply while NUH only charges $7. As u can imagine, we have stopped going there to get ripped off.
