★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refreshing trail for a quick (under 60 min) leisurely hike (for the easy-mod trails). Yellow trail was partially closed. Nothing much to see or do at the actual summit. Watch out for runners speeding down the steeper slopes; there are signs that discourage it as they could potentially ram into you — as one did to me earlier — but there are lots of them anyway. Cool to be able to visit Singapore’s highest point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for an afternoon stroll along Bukit Timah Hill, looking for wildlife. There were quite a few landslides from the recent rains and weather was hot and humid. Afternoon walks nice, less people. Next time wait for cooler weather.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jam packed on a sunday morning at 9am, queue at the parking, and very crowded main road for a relatively easy climb. First section is quite steep but it eases rapidly. Peak is at 163m, nothing compared to Gunung Pulai's 600m. The side trail to the dairy farm is a bit more physical. Wildlife hopeless except for some unafraid monkeys, far too many people to observe anything.
A decent hike by SG standards, but SG hiking standards are a low bar.

I think other nature reserves in Singapore provide better views
