β β β β β Somewhere of an in-between between western and local breakfast style eatery. Average coffee; the ice blended coffee drink isnβt too sweet. Bread and toast was decent too, although not mind blowing. Price is quite good.

β β β β β Strategically located at level 1, above the train station and 50 m from the bus stop, butter bean is a pit stop for local coffee. It serve warm toast, delicious local curry, lakasa, prawn mee to name a few. It's iced tea and coffee are also a hit. Best is the view of cable cars, water fountain (evening time). Its a great place to be for a short break or even for meals.

β β β β β Drink are so-so only. Didnβt have the intense flavour of tea or fragrance of milk. Itβs the watered down version. Price point is too high.
Bread variety is good but price is on the high side.
Nice ambience saved the day.

β β β β β Took a break at this cafe after shopping at Vivocity. The buddy meal set was good value with 2 drinks, a rice bowl with scrambled egg, chicken karage and curry, a toasted fish sandwich and a peanut butter & jelly toast. The fish sandwich was delicious. The meal was so filling at tea time we had no more room for dinner. Will definitely visit again

β β β β β Located in HBF, this place is recognized as simple toast cafe by the local. I never see other outlet aside from the one in HBF. I came here with my friend to taste new stuff, but i think this place has been there for quite some time, yet we never notice it.
It was located near the entrance door and easily spotted during out time searching the premise. The ambience was bright as it located near the entrance, but the working area and customers seating was so hectic that the staff won't even have enough time to clean up the empty table.
I ordered lemon lime tea and my friend ordered lychee orange tea. It tasted very light as the fruits was overpowering the tea, too much ice that it dilluted the taste of the beverages. Aside from that my friend ordered the toast, say cheese, it was okay warm and freshly made.
Aside from teas, they also sell sandwiches (looked like eggslut sandwiches), the set menus, laksa noodles, prawn noodles and local delights kaya toast. It depends on what you want and order it, it's more expensive than other place. Staff wasn't as helpful as i thought, the cashier can only speak mandarin βΉοΈ
Scoring time;
food 3/5
taste 3/5
price 2/5
service 2/5
ambience 2/5
location 2/5
Overall score of 2.3 out of 5 stars, the only issue was the price and location.

β β β β β Thick toast fish sandwich and Chicken n cheese sandwich was the pick of the evening. Get to choose the sauce for your sandwiches. Very filling! Mom loves the Kopi here!
Staff was patience enough with us cause it was my first time n i may have taken tad bit long to pick the toast.. cause.. they have quite a few options pick!
Most recent visit: you can place order from your phone! Just scan the QR code on the table, place order n make payment .. n wait for your order number! Technology at its best!

β β β β β Fancy type for our usual breakfast.
Apart from usual kaya butter toast, they have fancier spread like PB&J, Omelette, Nutella.
They also offered sandwich with different fillings, such as crispy chicken, chicken ham and cheese. With 4 different type of sauces, including curry (taste a bit similar to Mc* curry sauce).
Since this is fancier, price is on higher range. Sandwich set (sandwich and a selection of drink) priced between S$8-10.
Toast set (toast, 2 half boiled eggs, a selection of drink) ranged between S$6-10.
The drink can be improve though. For the price offered (ala carte > S$ 4), they can increase the size. For ice tea latte, the cup they use is S size.
They got seating inside (aircon) and outside. But as usual, the seating is quite limited.

β β β β β A great cafe located at Vivo City level 1, itβs few shops away from Tangs entrance. Food and drinks were prepared quickly enough, but itβs self service. The battered fish fillet sandwich with sesame sauce and crispy chicken with black pepper sauce are superb! The sides of the toast were crispy while the middle remained fluffy. We were pleasantly surprised to find an omelette in each sandwich. The price is reasonable for brunch or afternoon tea.
