★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time here for their MLXG after visiting sentosa island. Price wise isn’t that cheap but we ordered a lot of meat so I guess that’s fine. The overall flavor is quite good (中辣) and I love the fact that they are generous with the crunchy peanuts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely not expensive, but the food is really bad. Especially the beef very fishy...... we just finished the vegetables. two different order made use the same soup. I think just because there’s crowded in food republic. so they will have business. or else there won’t be any regular customers back for their food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently very disappointing. The quality is closely tied to the volume of food being prepared - this is the observation I have gained from multiple visits over the past year at this restaurant.i still keep returning due to lack of other mala food nearby.
This place can be a high traffic zone post covid eases, so they are enjoying the advantage of location, however, I really hope they pay attention to the taste of the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As one of the COVID survivors of Food Republic, found Imperial Hot Pot to be rather disappointing for its Sichuan offerings.
While VivoCity continues to attract foot fall, Food Republic VivoCity has suffered from COVID dining restrictions to the extent about 1/3 of stalls have closed.
