★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tastes alright, but definitely loses out to the ones I had in Thailand. The coffee here is a lot weaker, not sure if it’s adjusted to fit Singaporean’s taste buds. Worth a try though, if you haven’t tasted their Amazon blend before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drinks: Same great taste as you can find in Thailand ??(Cafe Amazon is a Thai brand owned by PTT, and the branch here is operated directly by the company), the quality of the drinks are maintained. I would highly recommend the Thai Iced Milk Tea (unique and not usual for coffee chains) which is one of the better ones in Singapore and brings you the nostalgia of Bangkok.
Price: The prices in Singapore are slightly priced higher given the costs of operating in Singapore including sky rocket rentals and overheads but still affordable and cheaper than many coffee chains including Starbucks. Iced drinks costs around SGD5.00 which is reasonable for the CBD area.
Service: Orders can be made via a QR menu and will be served to you at this branch. We happen to receive very personalized service as the staff checked with us on the sugar level before preparing given that Singaporeans generally have a less sweet tooth then their Thai customers.
Ambience: Beautifully outfitted which is quite different from the regular Cafe Amazon you chance upon in the MRT stations in Thailand. The sofa seats add a posh touch to this cafe branch.
Location: The only store in the CBD which might not be accessible if you do not work around the area. I would suggest that if the cafe is intending to reach out to the younger Singaporeans or a more affluent middle class an Orchard or Somerset outlet might be the next move.
Personal Feedback: Given that many Singaporeans love Thailand and traveling there it might be also a good idea to partner with other Thai brands or partner Thai Select to promote the Thai taste more collectively or partner with a landlord to bring the brand closer to more Singaporeans, looking forward to see more of Cafe Amazon in Singapore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the fried rice lunch set. The portion was pathetic, the salmon was super dry, the rice was burnt and you could tell that it was a leftover from god knows how many days ago. I salute the restaurant having the audacity to serve such food to the customer.
Thumbs up for cutting corners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The placement of things feels a bit awkward, there were a bunch of different types of seating for the customers crowded within a small space. You're blocked by their cash register so it's difficult to tap your card to pay, and the menus are scattered and hard to read. I assume the workers were new and didn't know the inventory too well. The fettuccine was soggy upon serving and felt more like the texture of egg noodles. The sauce was a bit lacklustre in terms of quality, as if you could have bought any Thai curry dish from the hawker centre and mixed some fettuccine with it. If I could give feedback, I'd suggest they shred the chicken and make it easier for the customer to make into bite size pieces with their pasta. I'd also recommend making it with fresh ingredients. The potatoes were soggy, the onions were no longer crunchy, it felt like microwaved leftovers.
As for the Earl Grey Cheesecake, it was quite basic but it lacked creaminess. It was more wet than anything and there was a small puddle of moisture at the bottom of the cake. The cake itself tasted like a mixture of cream cheese, a pinch of earl grey, and a lot of agar agar or gelatin as 'filler' to make the cake moist, however it diluted the flavour and it felt disappointing.
The Matcha Latte also tasted like regular green tea with milk in it. The matcha flavour wasn't strong and it wasn't creamy. Unfortunately tasted watered down.
Overall, the concept of the restaurant is promising, but they have a long way to go in terms of execution. The one thing I enjoyed here was their cookie, but that seemed to be prepackaged like their waffles and other items. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while so it was a little sad, but hopefully with time they can improve. I'll try some other branches around Singapore before writing them off entirely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kudos to Cafe Amazon for addressing some previous comment, such as waiting time now only about 15 mins. Nice place, quiet and chill surroundings at level 2.
Now excellent value with 1 for 1 lunch - we ordered the spaghetti Bolognese, which was delicious. Also has 1 for 1 deal on the drinks, but didn't have enough time to check it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Featuring Coconut / Thai Milk Tea gelato with Grilled Honey Toast, Iced Coffee Marble and Coconut Bai-Toey Frappé.
Coconut / Thai Milk Tea gelato with Grilled Honey Toast. This isn't merely a slice of toast. It’s a box made of toast, filled with toast. ? Okay lame IKR ? Joke aside, smear some butter and drizzle with honey and you get a toast that's warm, crispy, buttery and sweet. It suppose to come with choice of Coconut or Thai Milk Tea gelato but since I was goinh takeaway, I decided to go without the gelato as I'm pretty sure it wouldn't last me till home ? but still this is a good toast even without gelato.
Coconut Bai-Toey Frappé. A perfect blend of pandan, coconut and fresh milk with pandan jelly, topped with handcrafted coconut meat. IMO, pandan and coconut are the best combination. This drink indeed didn't disappoint. Is creamy and refreshing and I enjoyed the chewy texture of the pandan jelly. Beat the scorching weather with this refreshing cooler.
Iced Coffee Marble with chunk of silky chewy coffee jelly at the bottom of a creamy cup of iced milk coffee. And it is the BOMB!!!
Shout out to the I think he's the manager ? I didn't ask. But great service and friendly!!! I definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee taste is not strong as in Thailand (which is the original country for this brand), but still good quality. The price is on average with other brands in Singapore.
