CC Tang Dental Surgery Pte Ltd

One weekend I couldnt sleep at all bcos my mouth and throat were hurting so badly. I googled for the nearest dentists and waited night till morning for them to open. Called CC Tang immediately to make an appt on a sunday morning. The receptionist/nurse was so warm and friendly - she had to comfort a crying me on the phone bcos I was in so much pain. I have always been terrified of dentists and Ive a super low tolerance for pain. I was in tears at the clinic bcos of my own fears and the pain I was feeling, but Dr Tang and the lady were so so amazing. They were very comforting and kept trying to sooth me (I was so dramatic HAHA). Turns out my wisdom tooth was infected and it had caused a very bad tonsil infection. I couldnt open my mouth wide enough for extraction so I got strong antibiotics to heal my tonsils first and I returned within a few days for the extraction. Again I was super scared at the thought of needles/blood/pain >_< but I really had no choice - the teeth had to be removed. I kept whimpering as the anesthetic needle came towards my mouth but Dr Tang was very gentle. In the end... I DIDNT FEEL A THING?! After my initial fear, I just felt confused cos it wasnt what I expected. I got about 4+2 jabs and only the last 2 jabs felt like tiny ant bites. I remember scoffing when the lady said it's like an ant bite.. but it's really true!! Dr Tang manually pulled the teeth out. The process was slightly terrifying bcos he was using pure strength to pull a full grown teeth out of my mouth/face (imagine huge plier and lots of grunting and heaving and pulling), but again I didnt feel a thing when it came out. Next was the recovery period! I honestly felt very little pain. I just kept taking the painkiller every 6hrs. After the 2nd day, I didnt even need the painkillers anymore! The next few days were just about taking care not to get food into the area. By the 7/8 day, I could touch the gum with my tongue already. The stitches were also the dissolvable kind. The extraction actually healed faster than my tonsil infection. It healed in a week (no discomfort after 2nd day) while my tonsils took about 2-3 weeks Overall it was an amazing experience! Though mine was a manual extraction, not surgery, which meant that I cant claim from medisave - I feel that it was every dollar (about $295) well spent on such a great doctor, great skills, clinic service and speedy recovery. Dont get me wrong. Im still scared of dentists/any surgery/needles. The fears are still there and the next time a needle or any sharp object comes towards my mouth, Im still going to whimper like a baby. But I know the next time I have to see a dentist, I will only go to Dr Tang bcos he is the best and I know that I can trust him!

CC Tang is the rare dental clinic which opens till 9pm on Sat night and also long hours. Dr Tang did an x-ray and took time to check my tooth decay properly before removing my wisdom tooth. From his explanation, I sense that he is passionate about his profession. He comes across a straight shooter but not in unkind way. He is also knowledgeable and made the effort to explain my condition to me clearly. Dr Tang is a very experienced dentist. Before coming here, I went to Woodlands Polyclinic. The dentist at Woodlands Polyclinic did an x-ray in a painful way. She did not find the root of my tooth problem. She told me that there was nothing wrong with my upper tooth. My pain persisted on a Sat night, so I googled and found out that CC Tang was opened. Dr Tang is a very knowledgeable dentist. He did the x-ray with minimal discomfort and it confirmed that I was experiencing a transferred pain. Although I felt that my upper tooth was painful, it was my lower wisdom tooth which was decayed. He sprayed into the lower tooth and it was very sensitive. Dr Tang is very skilful. He removed my lower left wisdom tooth with minimal discomfort. I was up and about 12h after my tooth removal. Amazing ! His assistant, Dene, is the gem of the clinic. She is warm and friendly even from the time I called to make enquiries. She has a warm disposable which made me feel comfortable with her. I was fearful during the tooth extraction. She exuded warmth by giving me encouraging and comforting words. She even held my hand as she knew that I was afraid. Price wise, I did not check around beforehand but I believe that it is a standard price. They have NETS facilities but Dene requested that I withdraw money from the nearby ATM which I obliged. Even though I am usually frugal with my healthcare spending, I feel that going to CC Dental is money well spent. I recommend CC Tang Dental !

I am grateful to Dr Tay who provide extensive knowledge & an expert with wisdom tooth surgery which is very fast &  no pain. Not forgetting the sweet nurse who is understanding and caring too.

Brought my wife today for her tooth ache.. Really had a Wonderful experience.. the clinic assistant Dini is very nice lady n soft spoken.. and Dr Tang is really awesome, really explained the surgery procedure to us, and he really did a good job and gives really good advise, regarding Dental care.. now seeing dentist is not scary anymore.. will recommend to all my families & friends.. thank u so much for the wonderful experience..

Best dentist in the woodlands area :D Went for wisdom tooth surgery. Whole procedure took about 30min only. The pain level is comparable to taking a corvid -19 vaccine. Highly recommended to anyone who want to look for a dentist

Had a tooth extraction at CC Tang Dental. The dentist and admin was very nice. They explain everything to me before doing the procedure. I was a bit scared at first but it was pain less! To be honest, having the vaccine was more painful than this ? highly recommend!

Highly experienced, professional & recommended dentist in Woodlands. I doubt can find another better in the North. I was quite traumatised by an inexperience doctor from another reputable company to do my lower denture before I approached Dr Tang. Initially, I was quite worried when I visited him on the 1st appointment but overrall Dr Tang did an amazing job for me. I got my completed denture on the 3rd visit. The measurement, testing & qualities were done up to professional standard. Pricing is reasonable too. He was super gentle & careful during the entire process while his assistant Dini was attentively friendly towards me so that my fear was eventually drown by her warmness. Dr Tang also explained well the entire course as well as symptoms to prepare me from any concern. When I had some ulcers after wearing a couple of days, I came back to him & he polished the denture. Immediately, I felt the denture is perfectly fitting well without any further discomfort & he gave me some ulcer gel to apply. Tks so much Dr Tang! ???

Best dentist & good service. I have been to other clinic in woodlands but cc tang price is reasonable. The doctor & staff very caring, explain to me properly. Highly recommnded to my friends & family.see you again. ?
