CCA Korean HAIR Salon - #02-92 Far East Plaza

Coincidentally found this gem hair salon at the heart of Orchard, and I got even more excited to find out that my regular stylist Haru, whom used to do my hair when I was living in Seoul is now the hair director in CCA Singapore. As usual, I did a perm and was given a free haircut. The haircut was really cool and nice as the style really suits my face shape and most importantly, he will teach you how to style it. Perm was natural, and I believe the chemical he used is of good quality because not only it didnt damage my hair, but the texture turns out to be very smooth and healthy. Most importantly, the price was extremely reasonable at $148 only. Appointment has to be made on weekends, but I would suggest you guys to visit on weekdays so that the stylists will spend more time to evaluate your hair! Will definitely visit again!

I was so happy after I got a nice haircut here.It is a korean hair salon and all the stylists are korean.I just showed a photo of korean actress whose hair is beautiful.The stylist made my hair very similar so I am satisfied with the service.

Worst hair colour experience ever. Firstly, I requested Bella to be my hairstylist, but she didn't participate in the hair colour process AT ALL. All she did was having a brief consultation with me to decide which colour i want and blow dry my hair at the end of everything. The whole hair colour work was done by another two assistants. She didn't even bother to check my hair when my hair was dyed, not even once. Secondly, my natural hair colour is black but I also have some hereditary gray hair at the back of my head. After I left the salon I discovered that the hairdye solution/colour she applied on my hair was not able to cover the gray hair so I went back and showed her. She put the blame on me and said I didn't tell her that I wanted to cover my gray hair. As a customer who doesn’t dye my hair often, how the hell would I know that the hairdye solution she applied on my hair will only apply to black hair, not gray hair? She as a professional hairstylist, should have checked my hair thoroughly before she did the consultation with me. If she did that, she would have realised that I have gray hair and informed me in advance that the solution she apply couldn't dye gray hair, so that I could make a better choice on the hair colour. She even said, only black colour can dye on gray hair, which is completely not true but she just used that as an excuse to cover her inadequacy. Thirdly, her attitude was another serious issue. I communicated with her in Korean. I used honorific in every sentence I said, but Bella kept talking to me in casual Korean(반말), which is EXTREMELY RUDE in the Korean culture. Although I am not a Korean, I know this Korean culture well enough and I could feel the disrespect in the way she was talking to me. Last but not least, they didn't even give me a cup of water, knowing that I have to sit that for 2 hours.

Bella is great! Have been going to this salon for years and has always come back despite trying out some other “fancier” Korean salon which doesn’t really provide the service and quality I paid for. CCA give good suggestion and the cut is good. The salon definitely need a renovation but they have good stylist so that’s the most important service a salon can provide. Price is affordable not overpriced.

Staff were friendly and could converse in English. Gave helpful advice on cuts and hair colour and was very happy with the end results. Do note there is an additional 8% charge for foreign credit cards

Bella has been my hairdresser for the past 5 years. I first went to their main outlet in Seoul, then found their branch here. Always a good cut and perm!

Korean hairstylists are able to give that Korean cut which you want at an affordable price. Pros: -Korean-style cut - (might not be good for some) Quick cut, wash and blow, you are usually out within 30min - Non-Korean staffs are sweet and kind - Malaysian (?) male staff there gives great hair wash?????? -Myanmar (?) lady is attentive and gentle when hair drying! Cons: -Korean hair stylists can be brusque and impatient -They have the 不甘愿(unwilling/higher-than-thou) attitude towards customers sometimes -Quite rough when hair drying even when they are not in a rush

Have been cutting my hair at this Korean salon since 2020, and I can always trust my hair with Eun. I'll show her the style I'm thinking of trying and she'll give me recommendations accordingly. The hair wash is so comfortable and really appreciate the blow styling to complete the hair cut. Definitely recommend this salon!
