★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What I find this satay stall great is I can eat the pork satay without any peanut sauce. The marinated pork is simply delectable just on its own. Just the right amount of flavors, not too sweet or salty. As for the peanut sauce, it's not the star of the dish; the sauce has the right amount of punch with very finely grounded peanut. What a wonderful dining experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came on a weekday afternoon to avoid the queue. The satay here is really tasty and affordable but the size of meat can be inconsistent.
Raw satay is sold at 40 cents per stick with minimum order of 50 sticks and peanut gravy is included.

I always ordered the chicken satay and the meat is always tender. The satay is rich and you could taste the peanut. Some may find it slightly spicy but just nice for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eaten satay from East Coast Lagoon countless times over the years & also Newton satay. Both cant compare to this stall. Worth the wait.
Queued for 20 mins on a Saturday before 6pm to dabao 30 sticks and was not disappointed at all. At 50 cents a stick compared to the typical 70 cents, the satay is a steal. Despite the long queue, they don’t compromise on the quality and the uncle taking orders is kind unlike some hawkers who get too proud when their stall is popular. Peanut sauce is delicious & I had to stop myself from drinking it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chai Ho Satay located in Clementi hawker centre serve very delicious satays at a very reasonable price.
I have tried satays from many satays stalls in Singapore including the famous satay club, East Coast Park, Old Airport hawker centre and many other places. In terms of prices and the food, most can't compare with Chai Ho Satay at all.
Their satays are delicious, the meat is tender and well cooked, the sauce is flavourful and the price is certainly still very reasonable compared to most of the satay stalls I have eaten in Singapore.
Most of the time, this particular satay stall attract long queue of foodies who came looking for delicious satays to satisfy their craving.
For the delicious satays and the price of the satays, I will still say, its certainly worth the wait. Till now, I have yet to come across any satay stalls located in hawker centre that can match the standard of this stall.
