โ โ โ โ โ The Satay stall there is probably the cheapest in Sg. Just 50cents a stick (pork & chicken only). A must is also their BBQ Pork (Bak Kua) @ $42/kg. Really tasty. Personally feels it is better than some very famous brands. Sure won't miss coz long queue but serving very fast (30mins average, which is acceptable).
Just beside, my favourite too, "Chwee Kway"...

โ โ โ โ โ This is the unofficial town centre of Clementi as Clementi has many self-contained neighbourhood centres at Sunset Way, Clementi Avenue 2 which has a wet market and hawker centre for those not familiar with Clementi. In a way the separate neighbourhoods stopped the quick spread of covid19 which happened in other more centralised towns.
The building of Clementi Mall helped revitalised this neighbourhood.
The lesser known part of Clementi is the MRT which served as a major transit point to National University of Singapore, SIM, SIT and nearby Polytechnics and schools. The bus terminal is situated in Clementi Mall and huge bus stops outside Clementi MRT has a high flow of students.

โ โ โ โ โ Super crowded, especially during meal times. Quite a lot of people come here for meals, and there are quite a number of stalls that have super long queues. The porridge is probably the oldest school stall here, but the chicken rice, wanton noodles, carrot cake, and fish soup stalls have super crazy queues.

โ โ โ โ โ Another market clustering with nice food which I used to hang out there after the weekly badminton sessions. Formerly , there was a very nice Yong Tau Fu but the owner decided to retire. Nevertheless, the porridge there seems forever long waiting time. So far, average waiting time always at 20minutes. Based on my own opinion, this is second to the Chang Cheng porridge located at Chinatown or recent introduced at this platform.

โ โ โ โ โ The only hawker centre at clementi central with a wide variety of food choices. Frequently visited by the community at clementi and west coast. Near to NUS, Singapore polytechnic , Ngee Ann polytechnic, SIM and SIT. Just 5 minutes walk from the clementi bus interchange and MRT station. Long queues always form at Hainanese curry rice, Hainanese porridge, chicken rice, wanton noodles, fried carrot cake during peak hours. Now itโs 8.30pm and quieter in the Covid19 era. It is also surrounded by 2 NTUC FairPrice supermarket and near to the polyclinic so can drop by for a meal after doing the necessary shopping and visit to the doctor.

โ โ โ โ โ The main wet market on Clementi. Good selection of hawker food and produce. Tailoring services and a stall selling traditional biscuits and snacks adjacent to hawker centre.
Popular food choices in food centre include the fried carrot cake, Hainanese porridge and wanton noodles.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice place and many nice food stalls. The popular stalls always long queue. So today decided to try this chicken rice stall. The chickens looks small and skinny. Seems like kampong chicken. Ordered a plate of steam chicken drum stick and bean sprouts. The bean sprouts tasted very crunchy and nice. Unfortunately the chicken is a disappointment. Not meaty and due to its size dont expect much. Paid total of $8+ (2 stars)
