★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their hotel is located in an excellent location, in the middle of Clarke Quay and Chinatown. You can walk to Chinatown point and Central mall within 10 minutes. There is an open carpark located opposite the hotel. The hotel is clean and there is a scent throughout the hotel which gives it a calm and soothing vibe. Although the room is not big, they have a fridge, hair dryer, electric kettle, cups and safe in the room. The bed is elevated so you have to be careful because there may be a chance that you may roll over and fall onto the ground at night. There is a rain shower in the toilet and there is a bidet water spray gun next to the toilet bowl. There is a open space located at the 5th floor which allows smokers to go out for their smoke break. However due to COVID safe management measures, the door is locked and you have to approach the staff for the key if you would like to enter that area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room is cute and the design is space saving so it doesn't feel small. Still has everything you need, hairdryer, kettle, fridge, safe, etc. However you can tell it's a bit old, the wall beside the bed is drywall with wallpaper stuck over it, mold above the aircon which is quite noisy. Service is really like a budget hotel. We were told we can get late check out at 1pm and yet were chased out by a phone call at 1210 asking us to vacate by 1230. I mean, is it worth chasing out your paying customer over an extra 30 mins?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Champion hotel city
This hotel is really good and cosy
Especially if you want to write your thesis
Haha
Stayed in this single room
It is located convenient between Chinatown and Clarke Quay
The surroundings beside the hotel also has multiplte top quality cafes and good food.
It was quite cheap on traveloka too.
Only if you like small rooms

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed two nights as our base camp. Semi convenient to chinatown nearby. Pro is the convenience, AC, quiet. Con is the small rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a very pleasant stay here. Air con and water run well, tho the rain shower has this kinda funny 'plumbing noise' and I don't think the exhaust fan in the bathroom is on, room is also not totally soundproof from the outside noise but it's okay for me. Room is clean, water heater works well. I had a nice sleep cuz the mattress is comfy and clean, bathroom amenities + hairdryer and mini fridge are good. Helpful and nice staff. Very strategic location with just a short walk to the bus stop and MRT station. Overall, nice experience! Keep it up team

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the price point, I'm not complaining. Service at the front desk is good. The room that I had was small and functionable. Pillow was really comfortable. Air-con was cooling but noisy. Location is fantastic - you can literally walk anywhere within the CBD - from Chinatown, Clarke Quay and the Esplanade Theatres.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location: 5/5, easy access to transportation and malls
Cleanliness: -1/5, rooms were old and had dead/live flies and HAIR on the sheets. The bidet was also dirty and rusty, and the bidet handle fell off. I killed four flies before I asked to change rooms.
Price point: 3/5, would have been more worth the price if the hotels cleanliness was attended to. I need to say that hotel 81’s hygiene standards are better and they charge the same as this hotel.
Service: 5/5, the hotel staff were always polite, friendly and attentive.
Then I changed rooms TWICE because the second room given to me had flickering lights, unchanged toilet paper roll holder(could see that a bit was left over from the previous stay), flies on the bed and hair again.
Switched to the third room, which was a room upgrade, and there was still dead flies on the bed and hair under the blanket. Out of the three pillows given, two had knitted/woolen covers that had not been changed as there were stray hairs sticking out of them and had an old, used smell to it that had not been washed in a long time.
All in all, was a very unpleasant and stressful stay due to me killing flies and looking out for flies almost every hour. Would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The good stuff: staff were very friendly and efficient, while the aircon was very very cool coming in from the Singaporean heat. The water pressure was also good and the location is excellent. Unfortunately, it stops there. Although it looks modern, it is quite dirty. It was obvious that the glasses in the room had never been cleaned. There were hairs in and around the cabinets. There was a chemical smell throughout the stay. The bathroom just wasn’t clean with stains and worn fittings. The sheets had stains. I really wanted to like the place, but I’ve been to capsule hotels with clean sheets, bathrooms and facilities. I won’t be back and can’t recommend it to anyone else despite the affordable price.
