Cashier have attitude problem.

I've been here several times and think it's quite good. So I've brought a friend for lunch today and recommended my friend to try. Unfortunately, the cashier (a young guy) gave us the rudest possible attitude. When I placed the order, he didn't bother to ask me what side dish I want other than the default fries and just chose whipped potato for me. So I asked to change as I didn't want 2 potato side dishes after paying. He rejected me and kept pointing that it was stated on the signboard and I didn't make a choice so I'm not allowed to change. Their signboard stated fries and a side dish, no mention of the other side dish will be decided by your staff if the customer did not make any request; so as the cashier taking order, shouldn't you politely ask your customers what they'll like instead of deciding for them? I'm sure there are potato lovers out there who wouldn't mind but most would choose a salad or something else out of the different choices you offer. My friend decided to ask him again and he repeated the same thing with the same foul attitude and he asked if we still want our order. As he is unwilling to do a change, he rudely told my friend he will cancel and refund our order. Seems like their cashier system can only perform cancellations and refunds, but not amendments. We are really thankful for your refund since we've lost our appetite anyway. To be fair, the previous times I patronised this stall, whoever the cashier was didn't behave like that. So if this young guy is the business owner, good for you to have such a bossy rude attitude at such a young age. If not, the business owner may want to take note that your staff is behaving this way towards your customers.

Average taste overall, at best. Serving size for Fish n Chips could be bigger for the price. The signature grilled chicken lacked the grilled smokiness and was overpowered by the salty sauces. The the 3 overfried chicken cocktail sausages further detract from an already average dish. The serving of mixed vegetables on the side was a token small serving. Fish was either not thawed well or overfried as it did not retain the moistness of better fish n chips. Not recommended. Chips are commercial off the shelf so nothing to write about. Hardens fast when cool. Too many better coffee shop western food options out there. 3/5 in the vicinity. 2/5 overall.
