To be fair, they're a neighborhood bread and pastry shop that's been around for as long as I can remember in the 28 years that I've been patronising this estate. Don't expect anything fancy, but their standard has been relatively consistent across the years. Even the people serving and helping out is the same, and they run like clockwork. Can get busy in the afternoons during tea time, especially with the waffle and otah station, but if not, it's very much business as usual!

Great neighborhood bakery in the Toh Yi area. I've seen the lady boss through the last 2 decades, and she has become good friends with many folks in the neighborhood. Her cakes and bread are mostly similar each day, but they're very close to heart and definitely very hearty. Should check the shop out!

Terrible experience here! Poorly made waffles plus being lied to. The uncle selling me the waffle actually lied through his teeth! Initially there was an auntie serving me, and i told her i wanted a freshly made waffle, since i saw there were already 3 waffles on the table behind that looked like it had been made a while back. She then proceeded to make pour the batter into the waffle maker and started cooking it. but she was on the phone so she told the uncle to serve me. after about 8 minutes wait, the uncle took the 3 waffles that was already left for some time on the table, brought it back into the kitchen. then a while later, he served me a waffle, all this time the one that was cooked by the auntie was still inside the waffle maker. I told him i wanted a fresh one, and he told me it was fresh dont worry. because i was in a rush to work , i didnt make a scene and just took it and left. i took a bite, it felt like it was microwaved, and the chocolate sauce was thinly spread like leftover.... i paid $1.80 for this. threw it away after taking 2 bites.

Nora’s pastries new Durian cake.. simple design and they used real durian... first time trying and my family loves it. You will need to call before 2pm order beforehand and collect after 6pm. I love the agar agar too. Will return for more.
