★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 非常好吃!
.
Trust me, I am a foodie and a very detailed one.
I have been going around to search for good food and I'm so pleased with my bowl of pig organ soup from Cheng Mun Chee Kee.
I ordered the large one $6.50 and I am so happy that I made that decision. Unlike other stalls nowadays whereby when you ordered large bowl, they will just add in few pieces of ingredients and call that "large serving". But in this 老字号 stall, they are so sincere and generous.
Big bowl comes with generous servings of 肥五花肉 ( yum yum! ) , freshly slices of pork liver, pork balls that are so nice to eat, 瘦肉 , firm toufu ( I love it), thick ( yes thick slices of pig stomach) and salted vege to give the soup it's tangy taste.
In addition to this Singapore's famous Pig Organ soup, I also ordered 猪脚醋from the aunty cashier. Omg!!!! It's super delicious. Upon serving, I dug my spoon into the 猪脚醋 and take a big mouthful. I tell u all: I thought I was in a Chinese restaurant. It taste so good, just like what I ate in this famous Chinese restaurant that I ate in. 太好吃了。。 the 猪脚的肥肉与瘦肉之间的比例恰恰好! I love the egg dipped inside. I love it so much that I drank finished the whole bowl of 猪脚醋。
I dont know why there are some customers that never give them 5 stars. Do you know how much effort they put in? The ingredients are so fresh, clean and generous.
I encouraged you all to support this 老字号。 I think there is another brand whose name is close to this one. I'm not sure if they are related or not. But pls support the one opposite the Tibetan Temple. This is the best I can find in Singapore.
Thank u again, love ah ken!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is very affordable and "homey" if you're looking for a more Singaporean taste. Ordered the normal set of pig organ soup (comes with some pork, porkball, liver, stomach(?), wine chicken (not sure what it's called exactly), and vinegar egg. Do try out the wine chicken as the sauce is superb!you can clearly taste the cooking wine in it, and the chicken turned out to be super tender and fragrant. The soup is also worth trying of course, you get quite a lot of ingredients in that small bowl which leaves you craving for more. Would recommend to tryout thing place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The broth was good but didn't exceed my expectation somehow, maybe coz I wasn't having the pig organs version ?. While it had tons of stuff in it, the flavour profile was kinda flat I think, dominated by the 酸菜. And even for a 重口味 person like me I find it a little too salty for my liking. But it's still a tasty treat on the whole and I really enjoyed the meatballs which were very tender and fresh; the peanuts were tasty and soft as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well known for their pig organ soup (inclusive of meat ball, pork slices, salted vegetables, tofu, liver, and stomach). The ingredients will go well with their chilli.
I personally go for their pig organ soup after a late night outing. I will add rice if I’m feeling a little hungry or if I’m looking for a full meal. In a group, you can also consider their side dishes which is really good.
Their ingredients are fresh and prepared daily. Their soup is really the star of the show, don’t feel shy about asking for a refill because I know you will definitely drink it all. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went twice recently~ Truly one of local Singapore must eat.
The signature Pig Organ Soup is best, very delicious, & tasteful. Just eating it alone with the sour vegetables soup is enough, but remember to take the chili sauce, which will helps different experience. It is self service at the counter.
The Vinegar Pork Trotters is one of the best in Singapore. The vinegar soup is tasteful & lot of ginger in it, the pork legs meat with full smooth fat & meat are delicious. The skin very Q.
Chicken with Ginger is so so.
Steam minced meat with chestnut & salted fish is delicious. The salted fish made the state much tastier compared to steam minced meat without salted fish.
Will definitely come back again for the soup & vinegar pork. ^^

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite local pig ? organ soup stall. Have been eating at this place since my poly days for a midnight supper after burning midnight oil. The soup is very flavorful and without msg. The flavour comes from the fresh ingredients and salted vegetables. The pork is cooked till the right texture. Especially the liver, which is very difficult to get to the soft but not too raw state. The another plus point about this stall is that you can ask soup refill. And i see most customers doing that. They have several side dishes too and I would recommend the minced meat with chestnut and salted fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Genuine and great tasting pig organ soup with chunky pieces of meat and internals. The steamed minced pork with salted fish was out of this world - it’s a must try when you patronize this shop. Prompt service as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by a friend. Ordered pig organ soup (added extra stomach), vinegar pork trotters, chestnut with pork floss and steamed minced pork with chestnut and salted fish. Only the pig organ soup stood out and rightfully so as it was the main dish. The soup was really good. On other dishes, I think they are at best average. You can skip them if you don’t have extra stomach space.
