β β β β β Giving it five stars for the bakes. Been here numerous times and possibly tried almost all the bakes and love them. Love the croissants the best and hubby the croissant critique agrees itβs probably the best in SG. In the morning the bakes (butter) smell so good and the pastries so crispy. The donut so fluffy and warm. Must go again.

β β β β β OK food with bad service. Was here on a Saturday afternoon and the place wasn't that packed. There was one male staff who was walking around the cafe and pretended not to see that we were asking to take our order. He was busy 'entertaining' other regular customers. Eventually I decided to queue at the counter to order, only to be told by another female staff she would take my order at the table. Food and drinks came quick, which was probably the only the best thing about this place. We ordered a flat white but there was no coffee art. Not that we needed one, but at least serve the coffee proper? The coffee was spilt and it looked like someone made it using 3 in 1 instant coffee (see pic for point). After we were done with our brunch, we went to the counter to pay. Immediately the male staff shoved the credit card machine in front of us, without informing us of the total bill amount nor confirming the items we ordered. When we requested to know the bill amount at least, he told us that he didn't print the invoice because they were trying to save paper (???). After showing us the bill, he crushed the invoice and threw it away, as if making a point that we were indeed wasting paper. With such bad service, I doubt I would ever want to return here.

β β β β β Old school decor and an assortment of furniture is used to add to the warm ambience. The steak and pork dish did their best to impress but was just above average. The chocolate tart with red wine was the highlight of the diner for us.

β β β β β We came for a late lunch on a weekday and it was not crowded. I suspect it's not that the food is no good, but the competition is very stiff for a casual meal in this vicinity. Choupinette is quaint little bistro serving hearty french food, and one must be prepared to dish out about $30 per pax for a casual meal.
We had the Croque Monsieur and Egg Benedict. Both are good quality and very substantial casual meals. Our cheerful server, Wan persuaded us to get the off-menu Cajun Fries. It was very crispy and yummy.
We'd be back again to try their famous croissants.

β β β β β "Probably the Best croissants in Town!!" ^^
I was introduced to Choupinette by a friend. She told me that they have the best croissant in town, the butter & ingredients was from French. So as a croissant lover, I definitely must visit!!
It turn out the foods were really delicious, croissant with great butter smell. (We had 6 more croissants take away after that hehe XD). Managed to tried their Eggs Benedict too, the made their own bread (very crispy), & marinated their own ham (taste just nice not too salty). Super Duper Good.!!!!
If you planned to come here for croissant or any other breads, please visit earlier as 8am or make reservation. It sold fast, because they baked fresh daily. ^^
We were blessed to be taken care by both Force (lady) & Jason, they were very professional & humor! Super friendly! ^^ LOL
If you are going there for first time, please feel free to seek their help with recommendation, and make your own decision.

β β β β β Choupinette is a fav breakfast-brunch haunt for many, with their freshly baked breads & French menu.
Surprised (and really glad) that they have recently extended their operating hours to include dinner service.
Good & honest French fares with yummy tarts for dessert ? good wine selections β¦ with the occasional surprise craft beer on tap ??
Do enquire about their off menu specials ?

β β β β β The place was busy on a Sunday morning. Had the weekly lunch set, went for the mushroom soup, eggs benedict, and a hot latte.
Frankly, my expectations were high as the smells from the bakery was amazing. And coupled with the fact that it was highly recommended by a friend, I honestly expected more.
The eggs benedict was ordinary and one dimensional, the mushroom soup was way too watery and diluted tasting, and the coffee was thoroughly ordinary (doesn't compete with most 3rd wave cafes).
I'll be back to give the baked goods a try. But till then, this was a 3 star experience.

β β β β β Nice and cosy cafe with very friendly staff. We tried their Egg's Benedict and Egg's Royal's (smoked salmon) and it was good - bread was nicely toasted and easy to cut through. Price is typical cafe price but it is definitely worth it for the food and ambience.
