Queue for 30mins. Food was over priced. $34. Not that fantastic. Seller was quite attitude. Potion for 4 pax was so little. Ask for more intestine and vegetables and end up ask for another $15. 1st time and last time

Food was good, but didn't think it was worth the long queue and price. $22 for 3 pax.

Queued 30 minutes on a Sunday morning. Broth for the kway chap was diluted, tasteless. But the braised platter with meat, egg, pig skin, intestines, Tau Pok was decent. No porky aftertaste, intestines were very clean. Braise sauce was light yet aromatic, right balance of savoury kick from soya sauce, Chinese spices, garlic. Chilli sauce also paired well, due to its vibrant acidity.

For $6 a plate (as compared to ~$4 offered by most hawker stalls), I expected something out of this world. Unfortunately, it was just an average plate of kway chap. Cash only.

Was there pretty late past 1 and was so lucky was the 2nd last customer before they decided to call it a day. Queued for about 30 mins before it was my turn to order. Read a lot of reviews commenting about the price, which I do agree it's a little on the expensive side, but can't complain much since ingredients and utilities are not cheap nowadays also. Seriously with their quality of the food I could easily give 4 stars, but was put off by the attitude of the folks. So I told them the items I wanted, the guy collecting the money said $7. Fine I whipped out a $10 note and after all the food was placed on the tray about to leave the stall, the guy returned me back $2. So bewildered I asked wasn't it supposed to be $7, and the guy doing the cutting of the items replied "you know what you order or not". It doesn't matter about the items I ordered, if you tell me $7 then don't shortchange me and while asking back a question you replied in such a hostile way. You could have said sorry miscalculated or even if you say it's $10 and I think its expensive I will still pay the $10. On the other hand, the price list stated 1 pax is $6 for 5 items, and I picked 5 items and I don't know why it became $7 and I paid $8. If you happy happy like to charge based on mood then might as well remove your price list. I didn't want to create a scene and I left. Even though the food is nice but if your attitude of doing business is like that, I won't even want to visit again.

Chris Kway Chap is always having long queues and I am excited to be able to join the queue and enjoy it finally on a Thursday morning. While queuing, I enjoyed a cup of coffee and it was a delightful wait. We ordered 5 ala carte dishes namely pig skin, pig's large intestine, tofu, tofu skin and chicken feet together with 2 bowls of Kway. The above portions are for sharing of 2 of us. The pig skin was very clean, smooth and soft with no hairs on it. The pig's intestine was chewy and did not have any unpleasant smell. The chicken feet was huge with soft bones that were edible. The tofu and tofu skin was soft and nice. The serving of the Kway was very huge for one bowl. I enjoyed the fried garlic and garnishing placed on top of it on our own. The chilli is not spicy and makes it's more appetizing. Total price of what we order is $12. We dabao some of the dishes which we couldn't finish and the uncle was kind to add more sauce for us and gave us an additional pack of chili. #ILoveChrisKwayChap

The stall is located in Block 216 Bedok food hawker centre. It opens on Thu to Sun and closes around 1pm. Do expect long queue at all times and any of the operating days. The food is very good, clean and has a nice herbal taste. It doesn't have any awful smell. I'd say this is the cleanest Kway chap I've had. It costs $6 for a pax portion. The stall uncles are very friendly and would pack the food properly for you.
