★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No doubt chicken dishes are delicious with the special ginger scallion sauce.
However, an unfortunate drawback was chopping skills are bad. Tried to be very careful when eating the chicken however still unavoidably got hurt at my gum due to quite some amount of sharp & small shattered bones hidden inside the rice. Took me sometime to take that piece out and bleed like hell. Entire enjoyment gone?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice overall food. Chicken was on point. Chicken breast was surprisingly not as dry as i thought it would be. Overall had a good meal. The herbal tea was a 8/10. Food 9/10. Look at my photos for some details :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried both Royal Chicken and Soya Sauce Chicken. Went with expectations but it tastes so so.
- Some parts of the soya sauce chicken is not fully cooked.
- Rice not fragrant.
- Chicken is decent but nothing impressive, just like other decent chicken rice so no need to specially come try.
- not really hygienic as I could see how things were served/done while waiting.
However, if you went with no expectations, it is decent as there’s aircon and price is comparable with hawker ($6 for a set).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a decent meal but I expected more. Gui fei chicken was not bad but the char siew was too fatty. Too much fats and too little meat. The black tofu was a nice surprise, black skin and quite nicely deep fried.
The other thing I liked was the condiments. It's quite rare to find a place which serves the spring onions and ginger. Reminds me of dining in a roast meat joint in HK.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tender chicken paired with springy egg noodles. Tasty! I tabao back the char Siew (asked for leaner cuts as I’m not a fan of fatty cuts) also very yummy. Love the ginger spring onion condiments which I mixed into their plain porridge, delicious ?
