★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the skewers here. Affordably priced at $1 each and marination and spice is good. Chicken gizzards were so yummy! Do note that skewers usually come with a min order of 5 - shouldn’t be a problem if you love skewers. BBQed potatoes were also yummy.
Went really well with the cheap beer - $4 tsingtaos for $20!
Mala fish was a miss. Had much better ones at other places. Flavours were lacking and tasted pretty diluted. But there was quite a fair bit of extra ingredients (potato noodles beancurd etc).
Will return for the BBQ skewers and beer. Location is a bit of a walk from Jln Besar mrt. They recently moved - there’s both outdoor and indoor seating avail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some good some better some ok… bbq pig ear and their stir fried stuff are flavorful.. the meat skewers for me were bit lacking “fire”… the boneless chicken feet .. I think I can order this every time as starter… solid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to a couple of chuan chuan places and I must say this places exceeds all expectations! Prices are cheap $1 per skewer, generous portions of meat given, delicious tin foil dishes, and even grilled items like corn is juicy and sweet. Other cooked dishes are amazing as well. Service is good, easy to order online using a website and not very crowded even on weekends nights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 麻辣烫 - Portion size is super value for money at S$12+. But the soup was pretty lacking in the 麻, although as a soup it was tasty and very drinkable. For the 串儿 - curiously ran out of mutton at 1pm on a Sunday so I ordered beef and chicken instead. Seasoned well + nice and meaty but seasoning is primarily chilli forward. Would’ve liked some cumin and other spices in the mix. But still pretty good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got to know about this place from a friend who told me food will be very spicy and different from other restaurants available in this area. My experience have been a little different, food was not spicy at all. Grilled Lamb was very good and must try here, all other dishes are average. Tomato and Egg soup was watery, I didn’t expected it that way. Sakura Purple drink was good. Staff was friendly and served food on time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad the pork belly and mutton skewers. Except for the egg (don't really like the plastic texture) and squid skewer, which has a smell. The beef noodles soup is tasty and meat has soft texture. The pan fried dumplings are average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality and value-for-money dishes. The service was good and the place had decent ambience. The seafood was fresh. Love the lamb and pork belly skewers due to the equal proportion of meat and fats. A must order at the restuarant. The mini wok lotus was a spot on too. Definitely a good place for a family dinner on a weekend!
