โ โ โ โ โ Great fish with many choices. Do select the flavor based on your preference. The first visit, I chosen the satin and chong qing signature fishes but both were really oily and so so, 2nd visit I chose seabass with prickle and cabbage itโs the best. The sour taste of the soup base makes it more delicious and more appetizing. Price is relatively high but itโs worth it. You can also get Fave vouchers for discount.
Staff are friendly, ordering takes short time, queue is usually not long (5-10mins to get a table with walk-ins).

โ โ โ โ โ Reservation is a must, will not be able to get a table without it. Hands down one of the best chong qing grilled fish ever! Broth was flavourful and not too spicy, could have ordered the spicer level. Topped with potato, lotus root, sweet potato noodles, enoki mushroom and it soaked up the flavours from the broth. Fish was huge and fresh. Too much for 4 pax. Also highly recommend the longbean & sichuan chicken, both were worth the calories & very yummy!!

โ โ โ โ โ We visited without reservation on Tuesday night and were able to get a table immediately. The grilled fish was definitely the signature - we chose the spicy fragrant broth at medium spicyness, which was not numbing at all yet tasty. Fish was tender and firm. A variety of side dishes are available to be added into the soup as well. Highly recommend the fried beancurd skin, mushroom platter, and instant noodles. Service was above average. Will be back!

โ โ โ โ โ Been here many times, both their grilled fish and their dishes are really good, albeit being a bit pricey. Go for the sea bass to avoid the fishes with more bones. Mala flavour is my favourite but fermented black bean or mushroom flavored ones are good as well. Chinese spinach with salted eggs and century eggs is one of my favourite dishes, but they're generally good. Signing up for their membership gives you discounts or free dishes/fishes now and then so its worth it if you intend to visit them again.

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered sea bass with a few sides, and it was very savoury and delicious. Taste is very consistent with other outlets. Unlike other type of grilled fish, the soup does not get more salty after time (it is very smooth). Fun fact: the fire doesn't burn out even after 1hour!
This outlet is 2 stories high and upper floor is very well furnished and comfortable. Staff is also very friendly and helpful

โ โ โ โ โ Came on 30 Apr 2022 at 12noon, coincidentally last day of their 12yr anniversary promotion where you can have another fish $12/- (mala flavor only) and taste really good but spicy. Ordered the pickled cabbage broth with Patin Fish, fish is soft and broth flavorful. Side dish beef tripe which is equally good. Coming early is a plus as once it hits 1pm, the restaurant was already packed on 1st floor. Good food, good service. ??

โ โ โ โ โ This time went to Bugis outlet to try their food after I order takeaway from Chinatown branch. Still ordered my favorite pickle cabbage grilled fish. Delicious taste and fabulous texture of the fish. Tried their new vegetable dish, spring roll skin with mixed veg. Very traditional dish reminds me of my grandma cooking. We used to call it โๅๅฎถๆฌขโ cos it is like a big happy family wrapped into 1.

่ & ๆฐดๆ้ฑผ, and they were all amazing, even better if it goes with rice! The service staff were also very attentive and guided us whenever we have queries with the menu and ongoing promotions.
Will definitely patronize again, and highly recommended for everyone who enjoy a variety of spicy dishes as it comes with the option to adjust the level of spiciness.
