A rare find at Clarke quay. A fusion bar/bistro with a menu that focuses on quality over quantity! The charsiew and hokkien mee are a must order! The hokkien mee was Smokey, full of wok hey and the prawn stock was sweet and superbly done!

The Cicada’s Nori Tacos served in trios, has got to be one of our favourites of the night. There are three different flavours – Salmon Belly Cubes with Japanese Pickles (S$14), Korean Beef Bulgogi with Kimchi Slaw (S$14) and Pan Seared Foie Gras with Peanut Sauce and Pickled Cucumbers (S$18). The crispy nori shell complemented the tender meats. - Read more at foodgem .sg

Lovely space, limited menu but nice food! Made a reservation but wasn't informed over the phone about restaurant's kitchen hours (they don't serve mains before 5pm) We chose to dine in anyways and the staff was very kind to update us on the status of the kitchen and we stayed long enough to try the mains!

Good place for a small group gathering with a beautiful dining environment. The angel hair with salmon was good; the mango sago was more like a pudding

Stomped upon this place on a saturday evening 8pm+ after our ramen dinner at central. It's located right in the hustling buzling of Clark Quay Street. I was curious about the sign "遇见李" and the cute drinks poster that was marketed on the glass wall. Noone was there so it was perfect! Kinda feel like we were in a total different place once we were seated. Very nice ambience and the staffs are very helpful. They explained each of the cocktail and we ordered Casa Nova (all I remembered was Gin + Lychee Boba) and it's South West's not-cocktail-on-tap. Casa nova arrives in a ? whale float ? Absolutely Adorable. The other not so fancy and it taste like some Mexican cocktail I had in other places but a little diluted. Overall: Ambience: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 Drinks:4/5

Nestled within @clarkequaysg, @cicada.sg serves Modern Asian food with one-of-a-kind concoctions such as Boba Cocktail ? Making an entrance is the Smoked Dumplings with Foie Gras ($20). Arrived in a shroud of applewood, the pan-seared foie gras with peanut sauce is wrapped in egg crepe. Between Char-grilled Pork Belly ($24) and Grilled Miso Cod Capellini ($30), the latter was definitely on point. Well-executed codfish paired with miso butter sauce, the Ebiko atop the capellini was a nice touch. Promotion: From now till the end of May 2021, grab their thin-crust 10” pizza at 50% off when you order on Monday-Thursday between 5-8pm!

Very disappointing experience. Wanted to bring my friend for her bday celebration and I was so embarrassed for suggesting this restaurant. Firstly, it says on the website offering reservations, however, it was impossible to book it online, couldn't even have the option to select any date. Secondly, I tried calling them at different timing but no one answers the phone. Thirdly, as the number for contacting the restaurant was a mobile num, I tried to whatsapp them to try my luck to get a reservation, but no response. Despite all, we decided to walk in to queue, thinking the restaurant was too packed with customers to be replying or answering calls. Upon arriving at the restaurant at around 6.15pm, I was shocked that it looked as if it was closed, only saw 2 staff in there and they said they were having their dinner but proceed to invite us in. We were the only customers then, had the luxury to choose our free seating. The staff handed us the menus and told us some of the items were not available, leaving us not that many choices to choose from. He took our orders and we ordered 3 items, the instagram top posted item " Capellini Miso grilled cod" and 2 other sides. The dishes were served really fast, less than 10mins, and the food were not hot, neither would I called it warm. The cod was fishy and had a sour taste, my friend felt the same and decided to check with the staff of it was meant to be sour. He checked and came back informing they do use lemon during the marination and miso causes the "sourness". To me, it was just a lame excuse, I have eaten similar miso cod elsewhere and it doesn't taste anywhere the same and usually doesn't taste that fishy. Im a cod lover, hence I am able to tell from 1st bite if the fish was fishy or its due to marination, besides, since the fish is "so well" marinated with lemon and miso which causes the sourness, it shouldn't even have the fishy smell. Just be honest about it, c'mon. The instagram posts of this restaurant and their food were really enticing for me to recommend to my friend and for her to pick from a list of restaurants I provided her to choose from, but it was a HUGE disappointment! The flying fish roe on the noodles on instagram turned into grass for us, what a joke! Strongly will not recommend anyone to patronise.

Sad to say that when I first discovered this restaurant, it was when they were closing down. if they were to reopen again, I would definitely dine with them. Because when I was here, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Their food are affordable and it taste really good with the price.
