Very nice experience and the chef is very nice! Explains the dishes well and well paced serving. Highly recommended!

We had the Tsubaki set for lunch which we felt was value for money. Ingredients were fresh, staff attentive and definitely worth a visit or more.

The omakase is so worth it. Completely full and in heaven!!!! The every dish is worth savouring and beautiful. Alot of effort put in. The chef and staff is awesome too. Do ask for sake recommendation their choices are fantastic. They have a beautiful bar too. If you miss Japan you got to eat here ;)

We were the only guests for lunch and it was counter seating only, so really nice and cosy and you can watch the chef prepare all the food right in front of you and he explains the dishes. He was very friendly and we totally enjoyed the food and the experience.

Great fantastic sushi omakase with a twist from the bog standard omakase. Executive Chef Suzuki-san helms from many Michelin Starred Japanese restaurants around the world including HK’s 1* Michelin Sushi Wadatsumi, Tokyo’s 1* Michelin Ginza Iwa and Kyoto’s 3* Michelin Gion Sasaki. He really lives up to it and a gem find in Singapore with all the heavy competition.

Was recommended this place by a friend as otherwise think would be difficult to “stumble across”. Located in the once upon a time busy ,Clark quay this Omakase is on the second floor down by zouk. Actually had difficulty finding it but after calling the restaurant the host kindly came out to make sure we would be able to see the location. Bearing in mind we were also 30minutes late she was friendly, helpful and did well to set the tone for the whole experience. (Believe her name was Yvonne) The setting does well to make it feel modern, unique yet not over the top and commercial like some of the larger places like Koma. And the result is an intimate setting that still feels busy enough to not be intimidating. However the space is spacious and airy unlike some more traditional Omakase settings. We went for lunch and at the time there were 4 other couples sat surrounding the chefs in the kitchen in the middle, yet there are also private rooms to the side for even more privacy. The food itself was amazing. Ingredients very fresh and combinations well thought out. We ordered the Aoi which had great variation as well as having a good amount. Assistant head chef Kawana Yusuke made special effort to explain each course and each dish, answering our additional questions also. His knowledge is outstanding. Last but not least wanted to highlight that the cost was well worth it, have been to a few Omakase and rarely do you get the quality, setting, service all at a reasonable price. We spent c 400 total including drinks for two ppl. Worth noting is that they also had options of half bottles of wine which were not so expensive. All in all extremely happy and will come back again, thank you for a great experience.

Relatively new and very hidden! Would definitely visit again. The gentleman who recommended the sake to us was fantastic and super professional. And chef naka was so friendly and happy that we were enjoying every bite of what he prepared. Everything was perfect and the price was also reasonable. We’ll be back soon!

Chef Nakatani prepared each dish with such love, care and details, pampering the diners with a high level of dining experience. Each dish was created with the freshest ingredients and each component was well put together. Amazing! Restaurant manager Andrew was attentive and ensured that we were well taken of throughout, even when we adjourned to the bar (Here Kitty Kitty) next door. ❤️
