Clippers Barber @ Paya Lebar Quarter

Waited 2 hr but is expected as the hairdresser Esther told me beforehand. She was the only barber at shop today. Cut nicely and beautifully. Made an effort to explain why she cut this easy etc. Long wait but it shows she made an effort to cut properly for each client and not anyhow.

Wanted to give this shop a try since I walked past it. Bought a ticket from the machine. Nowhere does it say ticket is not refundable. I tried to look at the number queue but didn't see it. I thought that's fine since there are 3 hairdressers, the wait should not be too bad. Went down for a coffee for about 20 mins. Came back up to the shop. They only served 1 customer! My issue is not with the speed of their service. That's beside the matter. My beef is when I requested for a refund, I was told no refund! I said that's terrible. They then pointed to me a note on the side of the payment machine. The ticket stub also says no refunds. I'm thinking who will read that long note before making payment? I want quick and good service right? Not stuck in a trap you hide in a bunch of notes! Anyway another gentleman is queuing to buy the ticket. I offered him to buy mine and he graciously accepted. Moral of the story. Just go to the barber at level 4

Should have checked the reviews on the long wait times before I took (and paid) for the ticket. I waited 1.5 hours before my number was called - there were 6 people before me and 2 stylists. Wait aside, the cut was ok and I liked that the stylist took the time to do a thorough job (which accounts for the long wait)

It was a great experience. I was attended by Miss Lani at PLQ mall. I was so pleased with professionalism and by skills she possesses. She was fast, precise and understanding. Overall i am very glad i chose clipper's @ PLQ. I am sure i will visit them everytime i got chance. Once again thanks to Miss Lani for superb haircut.

Been having my hair cut 3 times so far, by Marcus. He is very professional and every haircuts putting full effort and concentration. That is the reason why the queue took minimum 1-1.5hour period of waiting. Worth the wait.

Horrible service and hairstyle I have to live with for the next few weeks. I have to admit that my first experience was great. Been longing to come back to cut my hair but met this middle to old aged lady (I think she is Filipino) that doesn’t know how to cut a nice simple hairstyle. Firstly, she doesn’t look very happy at all. I ask for high slope but my slope was neither high nor Low. In fact, it look like a 50+ years old uncle’s slope when I am in my early 30s. There was no scissors cut for the slope (which I had the first time). I can get better hair cut and service at a $7 barber near my block then to pay for $15 for this service. Will never come back again and will not recommend this lady.

My second time having my hair cut by Marcus. He cuts it exactly as you want and listens to how you want it. He brought up a good suggestion to layer my hair, but only did so after asking me. He was also meticulous and took care to shave down my baby hair. Overall, the experience was great, the haircut was great and I will be seeing him again next month.

My 1st time having a hair cut there. Was attended by a female stylist. Wad i would like to comment is her professionalism, she really did a great job. Def worth the waiting time end of the day. Meticulous in details, thumbs up to her.
