Zero pain experience during extraction

Lee the dentist can’t accept the patients to be late. So I am always on time. Grab, taxi bus whatever to make sure I’m on time. however he is late for 40 mins for my 2:00pm appointment last year, no apologies. and today again and I skipped lunch to be there at 2:00pm due to workload and took a grab there and he was late and I left after 30 mins of waiting in his empty room and no show and when I was waiting for my grab car to leave and I saw him walk in at 2:36pm to his clinic. And yet the nurse tells me that I can’t piss him off because I have to leave soon to have lunch I can only mentioned that I have to leave soon for work. WHAT THE HELL?!

First time visiting here with my wife. I must the dentist and the nurse on duty were very gentle and professional. Even though it was near closing time, we didn't feel the appointment was rushed. The dentist took time to explain our individual dental condition to us and also allow us to take photo of our teeth condition. Will definitely return. Just to take note, for weekend visits, no appointment can be prebooked. First come first serve basis.

Visited the clinic on two separate occasions. Once as a walk in customer and the second after making an appointment 2 months in advance for a weekday afternoon slot. On both occasions, the dentists were rushing through the treatment and really annoyed that they had to take longer than usual time per patient. For the appointment, the receptionist did not bother asking what treatment I required and automatically assigned me a 30mins slot, which I only knew about when she called in one day before the appointment - was extremely shocked to find out as I had intention of doing a few complex filling... Ended up taking an hour without completing all that is required. Moreover, the doctor was practically chasing me out of the chair without checking if the filling is ok. It felt a little sharp but thought I could bear with it. That night I realized that I couldn’t floss my teeth due to the sharp surface as well as tight gap between the teeth. To make matters worse, the receptionist wasn’t friendly at all. She was extremely reluctant to book an appointment for me (asked on 3 occasions, once when she called to confirm the appointment, then when visiting the clinic and a third time while asking about the issue with the filling). The clinic’s process of resolving such issues seems to be lacking too. In order to get the “sharp” filling resolved, I had to come early before they open so as to get a walk-in slot. It was either that or book an appointment 2-3months away. Prices are reasonable. However, do not expect the dentist to be through with the cleaning. Unless you are able to make use of government subsidies, I would not suggest coming to this clinic.

There are two dentists who work at different shifts, and they are VERY different. I had a wonderful experience at this clinic a while back (did scaling and polishing) when I visited in the morning. The cleaning was thorough and he was clear in explaining and answering to my questions. I decided to go back to this clinic to get a consultation for braces and learnt that the dentist mentioned above did not specialise in braces and I would have to see the other dentist. I made the appointment and sought consultation and it was the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had with a dentist. He was rude and did not provide me with objective advice. Just to highlight one incident, he stuck an apparatus in my mouth when I was in mid-sentence and when I requested for him to take it out for a while because I felt uncomfortable that the apparatus was tugging on to my dry lips, he made a quick judgement about how I would not be able to withstand the pain of braces if I couldn't even withstand that slight discomfort. On top of that, he often used jargon when guiding me through the process and though I could have clarified with him about what they were, I had no patience left, and I was also sure that I wouldn't go to him to get my braces done. I personally do not have dental phobia so I cannot imagine anyone with dental phobia seeing that dentist. I didn't get the name of that dentist but he is the one that takes the afternoon shift on weekdays (2pm to 4pm). So in short, dentist is the morning, very good (5 stars). Dentist in the afternoon, very bad (0 stars). If you need to be clear, just request for the dentist that does *not* do braces. Gonna rate this clinic 1 star so that interested people would be more inclined to read the comment.
