Very poor service from this Chinese woman. Ringing the bell in the customer’s ears. When request for extra anchovies, no respond. It is not even peak hours.

Love this food court inside WhiteSands shopping mall. It’s a very cosy place with friendly & efficient cleaners clearing & disinfecting tables. A good variety of food is also found and for the 2nd day of CNY, it’s such a blessing that the drink stall also sells food such as mee rebus, lontong, mee siam, curry chicken with rice etc... the servings are pretty generous and tasted palatable! Some of the drink stall staff are elderly but works at a surprisingly very fast pace! And very friendly. I personally love the spicy pork knuckle side dish sold at the china food speciality stall. They allowed us to request for low salt, less oil and less spicy version. Highly recommended place to dine in for cheaply priced meals in an aircon and very clean environment! Updates on 12 October 2021: The rice stall has a change of hands and has also incorporated so called brown rice (with white rice added) at an additional $1 per serving. However, the pricing for their food fluctuates erratically every day. It’s akin to share prices in the stock market. I bought a bowl of white porridge, 1 serving of bean sprouts, 1 serving of brinjal and a piece of pork chop. The bill came up to a shocking $6.50!! Can u imagine how much it would have cost me if I have opted for “brown” rice which had white rice added in to pass off as brown rice. The plain porridge seems to be a melting pot of leftover porridge with new rice grains added in from the taste of it as some tasted partially cooked. While I can appreciate the fact that their stall rental could be high. However, the food with the same dishes could be charged a different & much higher pricing within just a couple of days of patronage. I would never patronise the rice stall again because the pricing for their food is ridiculously expensive!

12 Oct 2021 - takeaway during Post Circuit Breaker Phase 2 (preparatory stage) / Stabilisation Phase to COVID-19 Resilience. 2.5 stars. I got the chicken cutlet with its standard 3 sides, sans salad dressing from the new Mr Western stall. Food is quite tasty and the salad and corn are fresh. Portion size OK, reasonable price. But there's no communication between the cashier and kitchen staff. When I asked the cashier what sides come with my order, she wasn't sure. The kitchen staff had to come out to clarify. Also when I asked the cashier if they had pepper, she thought I wanted paper and didn't know if they had pepper within the stall. Again, the kitchen staff came out to resolve the issue. Also got some xiao long bao steamed pork dumplings from the Chinese noodles/fried rice stall. Tasty but the dumpling skin is a bit thick. Friendly staff at this stall. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 8 Aug 2020 - dine-in/takeaway during Phase 2 of Post Circuit Breaker. 2.5 stars. Saba from the Korean stall is a lot more tasty and juicy (& not fishy) compared to the one from the Japanese stall. The rice is also better quality. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 8 May 2020 - takeaway meals during SG circuit breaker. 2.5 stars. Not a wide selection of stalls to choose from at this air conditioned food court. Most of the food stalls don't entice me. I usually only get the boiled soups - old cucumber pork rib soup, lotus root and pork rib soup, watercress pork rib soup, etc. Price is reasonable. One good thing is that they accept credit cards for payment.

Found this new mala stall in this food court. This bowl cost me $8+, taste surprisingly good, and short waiting time.
