Ashley encourages you to have a healthy holistic lifestyle, gives you the motivation to work out to your best safely and helps you to realise that one’s body is stronger than you think. Her gym is comfortable and homely, providing an inviting and relaxed environment that helps build up one’s inner motivation to exercise. As fitness is a personal lifelong journey that is unique for each individual, I think that it is important to have a patient trainer like Ashley who seeks to understand your needs and motivates you to live a healthy lifestyle.

I tried losing weight on my own by following exercise videos online and doing intermittent fasting but the scale did not budge after a couple of months. So, I decided to seek help from a professional and it was eye-opening & fruitful as I was unsure if personal training would work. It's my first time doing PT and entering a gym environment so I was a bit apprehensive. Ashley is warm, friendly, and supportive! Her studio is cosy and you have the whole place to yourself if you are doing solo or buddy training. I went for a trial at her studio first before going to another location for a trial and they were worlds apart. While the other place was slightly wallet friendly & had a lot more equipment, it was quite noisy with the music blaring on the speakers and I had to continuously rotate between stations as there were multiple people training at the same time which I felt was a bit disruptive. I settled on Cornerstone Movement in the end and was happy with the results! I managed to lose a bit of weight within 3 sessions and maintained the weight loss too. The exercises are always different between each session so it is never repetitive or boring. Ashley also takes note of any injuries and modifies the exercise accordingly so you do not exacerbate the injury while still working on the focused muscle group at the same time. Even though the exercises looked simple, I found myself perspiring for every session as I was finally doing them correctly which is something that cannot be taught through an online video. It is not about how fast you complete the exercise, but whether you are doing it properly which is more important. If you do not like other people touching your body to correct your form, Ashley is the right person for this as she will ask you if you can feel the muscle being activated and you will learn to be in tune with your body without having someone else push/prod your body into the correct position. Another thing I appreciate is that Ashley does not recommend any diets as it is not sustainable in the long run but encourages you to make more nutritious & healthier food habits. You can still have your pizza & ice cream, just that you have to balance it out with your other meals for the day or split the portion with someone else. I could not do a ladies style push up (even with knees on the ground) when I started and now I can which was one of my goals. Highly recommend her if you're a beginner. :)

Ashley is amazing! Training with her feels comfortable yet adequately challenged. She has a positive outlook and strives for holistic and sustainable practices/routines. Great cozy gym space too ☺️

Ashley is so supportive from the start of me & my husband’s fitness journey. We started it to lose weight for our wedding but we also gained a friend through the sessions with ashley! She is always pushing u but knows your limits and understands ur fitness level well! Ashley also provides advise on nutrition and lifestyle patterns along the way so that we can incorporate it into our daily lives! Love that her studio is very personal so you don’t have to exercise in front of so many strangers!

I signed up for 1-1 Nutrition Coaching (Online) with Ashley. Through the daily food log and weekly discussions with Ashley, I was able to gain awareness of my habits surrounding food and slowly move towards healthier habits. I have struggled with weight loss for a long time and have tried out many weight loss products and services, most of which have been ineffective for me. However, working with Ashley has helped me to develop healthier dietary habits, and I think I have finally found a sustainable path to weight loss and a healthier lifestyle in the future. Ashley has proven to be extremely knowledgeable and professional when providing nutritional based advice. Always willing to offer insights to improve my understanding of the right types of food, and portioning. Most importantly, she teaches clients the value of sustainability. I highly recommend her. And after completing the 3 month cycle with her I have decided to renew for another 3 months. As I believe it would be beneficial for me in the long term.

My journey with Ashley over the last 10 weeks has been fruitful and life-changing! She approaches exercise and nutrition from a more holistic and sustainable perspective, focusing on the foundations rather than the external changes and transformation - something that is easily forgotten in the quest to get β€œa better body”. For me, besides seeing tangible changes like gaining muscle and losing fat, most importantly I’ve been able to challenge myself through each of the exercises she plans out in our weekly sessions; slowly seeing improvements in my form and stamina.
