Tried the almond croissant. Not great. If you've ever had a croissant from a reputable bakery, then you'd know what I'm talking about. You definitely get what you pay for. Store seems gimmicky, and focuses more on fillings than the most important component of all: the croissant. Manage your expectations.

Wasn't expecting much when I bought the chicken mayo croissant for $2.80 but was pleasantly surprised that it was quite tasty. I thought the "liao" would be very little but it turned out to be a good balance between the pastry and the stuffing. Would choose this cheaper option instead of other cafes next time.

Happened to pass by Tampines MRT station side facing the big field and saw this newly opened bakery where Koi Express used to be. There is a large variety of croissants from sweet to savoury. Customers are spoilt for choice! With the affordable price, one can buy in abundance and keep it for brekkie the following day! ?

Actually it's quite funny that Swee Heng is just located across the alley. But somehow new concept means must have a separate shop, some business 101 style approach. Anyways.. they always have some sort of promo if you buy enough and the price is really just typical swee heng level price so just buy some to eat for fun. But really, not everything tastes good when you cut a croissants into two and sandwich them. The sweet ones are not too bad if eaten cold. The savory ones probably have to be reheated in an oven or airfryer.

@crolosingapore the brand new speciality concept by @sweehengsg and is the first Croissant x Croffle speciality store in Singapore which is also halal-certified, has open their 2nd outlet @amk_hub ? Offering MORE THAN 30+ FLAVOURS to choose from and all their bakes are made with premium New Zealand butter from @afp.sg Now they have an Opening Special ? Buy 6 get 2 Free (2 free within $1.10 range)? I spent a long time picking my box of 6 because there are so many different flavours to choose from and everything looks so irresistible tempting? And my final picks are Egg Mayo croissant (best seller), Tuna Croissant, Fish Fillet Croissant, Snow Crab Mentaiko Croffle (best seller), Mixed Fruits Croffle (best seller) and Mango Pudding Cream Puff. The Croffle (crossiant + waffle) are slightly crisp on the outside and chewy soft in the middle whereas the Croissant are flaky and crispy on the outside while airy soft on the inside! BUT PLEASE HEAT THEM UP if you don’t intend to eat them on the spot. I also love how they are so FULL OF BUTTERY FRAGRANCE due to the fact they are made with 100% butter. Mixed Fruits Croffle. Topped fresh fruits, sliced almonds and custard cream that was not too sweet. Snow Crab Mentaiko Croffle. This combination is just simply mouthwateringly yum. Both Tuna and Egg Mayo has generous amount of filling and the Tuna has no fishy taste while the Egg Mayo is rich creamy smooth. Fish Fillet Croissant is classic that never go wrong. Mango Pudding Cream Puff. With custard cream, soft mango pudding and some blueberries. The sweetness is on point. I got my 2 free pick Chocolate Custard Croissant and Custard Croissant. When I pick it with the tongs, I could hear the crunch sound! Imagine that crispiness!! Both filling are generously filled and make you crave more. I also got their exclusively at Amk outlet, Milky Butter Polo Bun. Super love this Milky Butter Polo Bun. Soft and fluffy cotton-like and extremely chewy with the right amount of sweetness. Currently their opening special promo, IT’S A STEAL to me. Don't miss it! Ig: @zoey_belle_

Bought five crolos for $5, usual price is one at $1.10. Texture wise is quite hard, except for the cranberry. The chicken ham is flavoursome, caramel custard, polo and chocolate chip were not bad too. They have other varieties such as egg mayo crolo going at $2.80. May go back to try others.

Definitely a healthier option compared to half a dozen of donuts. Love how vibrant and wide variety of options to choose from, would recommend their peach crolo! It’s amazing how they made the bread croissant into waffle shape and love the texture, it didn’t turn soggy despite the fact that the custard cream was resting on it! The tuna croissant is on the saltier side.
