โ โ โ โ โ Richard is the go-to man if you wanna know a thing or two about whiskies. Trust him to make recommendations. Interesting mix of Scottish/Japanese whiskies - pretty decent selection considering CU ain't position to be whisky bar.
And I have to just say this... great pricing for the poison.
I like the fact that CU is owned, run and managed by local - a small tight ship of staff who know their customers well. It's unpretentious, down to earth, and seriously a bit of "take it or leave it" attitude - which is what makes it a great little local drinking hole.
If you are for authenticity - check out CU.

โ โ โ โ โ There is one drink that brings me back again and again, maybe because it's almost like a pre-dinner appetizer - the Bloody Mary. It's definitely my favorite BM in singapore! Submerged in the perfectly made BM is a skewer of a full juicy cocktail prawn, olive and ending with a cute of frozen tomato to keep the drink cold without diluting it. It's bloody brilliant and every bloody person should come have a go at this bloody great bloody Mary.
