Cube Boutique Capsule Hotel @ Kampong Glam - 56 Bussorah St

The location is pretty great, about 10 minute walk to three different MRT stations. The area is quite cool too although very touristy, the prices are about 3x what you get if you walk about 10 minutes away. The actual hotel seems quite nice and it does scrub up quite well but there are a few things which reminds you it is a one star hotel. The staff are ok but no one really goes out of their way for you, you get a free bottle of water on the first night but not again (however, there is a tank in the common area to refill your bottles), the bathrooms get quite dirty throughout the day (apparently they get cleaned twice a day but I highly doubt that). The beds are quite comfortable but they get very hot and stuffy when you have the blind down so it's either privacy not climate... Overall it was probably just about worth the money (it's cheaper if you stay during the week) with the cornflakes, toast and watermelon at breakfast.

I just wanted to say, this place was *so* good and I've stayed at at least a hundred hostels by now. This is what other pod hotels should model after. The pods are comfortable, the decor is nice and feels good. The setup is sound-resistant. There's room to stretch and room for your stuff. It was so good that I stayed a second night even when I'd already booked another hotel. I slept *really* good. Recommended!!!!

I would say the place is decent and passable. Won't exaggerate it. Located in one of the prime locations of the streets of Masjid Sultan in the suburbs of Bugis. Check-in is usually after 3 pm. The dorms are spacious and the beds/cubicle are comfortable. There are blinds at the exits, giving good privacy. The Aircon seems to work 24 hrs. The breakfast timings are usually from 7:30 to 10 am and they do serve descent meal with bread, variety of butter, milk, corn-flakes, tea/ coffee, boiled eggs & sometimes fruits ? ? and noodles ?. Won't say it tastes great but yes ***ageable. The staffs are OK if not disappointing ?!! U get a 24hrs access to the doors. Check out timings are 12 pm.Few Negatives :- No social environment or companionship- Place is loud ?- Washrooms are often dirty and wet- Staffs don't seems to interact much with the travelers- One has to go for a hawker kiosk, if u aren't cool with Lebanese food- Far from the nearby MRTOver n all, I would rate this place a 6/10, as I have stayed at much better hostels in Singapore with a lot better crowd, good social gatherings, tasty welcoming breakfast ? and pleasant night sleep and that too at half of this price. ??

Staying here for 2 nights, the staffs are friendly, narrow room, the common room sometimes too smelly because it located behind Turkish restaurant, I don't know about the second floor, but the first floor only got 1 bathroom & 1 toilet, the room are sometimes smelly & feel damp too, I stayed in queen bed pod (quite spacious but I don't know why the AC is hot. Even though it located at crowded place, but once you get in there it isn't noisy, pantry area is small and basic cooking utensils are incomplete (no cutleries, bowls, plates. but you can ask from the receptionist) For those who having a hard time finding this hotel, it located just Infront of Sultan Mosque, besides Tabouleh Restaurant (their canopy are in the same color, so that's why it kind of hard to find.)

Great spot in the centre of Kampong Gelam! Right near the Sultan Mosque with lots of beautiful Turkish restaurants and exciting alleyways to explore. Capsules were comfortable and clean, with towels, water and other amenities included. Stayed in the Queen capsule which was a good size for both us (6ft tall aussies). Simple breakfast provided made for an easy start to the morning. The universal powerpoints in the capsules were a life saviour! Fit both our Aussie and Euro plug devices. Shared bathrooms (downstairs) were a bit small and need some maintenance, but perfectly serviceable and were just what we needed. Not sure about the upstairs ones (might be different/better.) All up, a good easy and very affordable spot for our stop over. Would absolutely stay again!

Strategic location, only 10min walking to Bugis MRT station! Room is clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom is spacious, have shower/toilet/handwash, also cleaned every day. Breakfast are coffee, tea, bread, cereal, and crackers; not much but quite enough to start the day. Really recomnend this place!

I booked the Capsule-FEMALE ONLY (luckily for just one night) and didn’t quite had a pleasant stay. They gave me the Sultan Room, looked nice and really clean but that’s the only thing I liked in my stay. Upon checking in, the front desk person told me the rules about not talking too loud on the phone and what not so we wont have to bother the others who are staying inside the room. But i got disappointed. The girls that were in the same room as mine were talking so loud even at around 12am and were letting their MALE friends in of the room. I knocked the wall for them to know that they were disturbing someone, they got quiet but did the same thing this morning at 7AM and their MALE friend is at our room again! I wasn’t able to get the rest i wanted to have so I had to leave really early too.

The capsules and beds were comfortable, the toilets and showers are cleaned every day, free breakfast, and very kind staff! The location is very good too. I had a very pleasant stay
