D' Jewel Nails - 3 New Bugis Street

Bad service, bad painting, and overpriced. Brought gf to do her nails but it turned out like something she could do herself at home. Paid $28 for this.

Worst service I encounter in my whole life!!! This lady is a big cheater/scammer. I actually always did my nails here because their shop is easy to see but she is the only one and its my first time to encounter to her that I need to pay every single thing the she will do. Ever since I went inside of their shop they will asked me what I want and I will pay the amount that is written outside of their shop. But to these lady ahh!!! a lot of hidden charges! walao eh!! SCAMMER!! thats why be careful when you encounter her, pay only the amount that they told you before you entered.

I came across this shop from tiktok so i decided to try it. My boyfriend’s toes got infected and i feel sorry for him cos he agreed to accompany me and did his with me. Also, they were supposed to soak our feet w warm water but instead they just put our feet in cold water for like 20 secs and started cutting our cuticles that arent even soft yet and it was painful lol. Nvr cmg here again :/

The shop is really easy to find, it's just nearby the escalator. The manicurist, Sammy, is friendly and will inform which color book that have additional charges. This is my first time trying the Express Gel Mani & Pedi (2 colors) @ $33 for 30 mins only. The results are really good. Will definitely come back.

Worst experience with a nail shop ever. The service done was already bad, but Wendy actually called me on whatsapp and said a lot of things that I have never heard from someone in a service industry say. I went with my family to get our nails done. Did a classic pedicure. The first time she was done, it didn’t look like she paid much attention to doing it properly. The nail shape was off, the painting was also off. I tried to let her know but she just kept saying “I haven’t put the topcoat”. Then I compared it to my cousin’s who was fine. She then removed and re did the nails. The second time it was better though not cleaned properly but I was just tired already. Left the shop about 745. Everything was okay until about 10 I noticed my nails were all off. I was wearing sandals and I didn’t hit anything. I’m not sure why it came off like that so I messaged Wendy. She asked to come back and redo but I didn’t want to because the experience was already so bad. I requested a full refund as I felt the service was just not up to standard and she tried to call me. I rejected because there’s no point. She called again and went off saying I didn’t do gel that’s why and kept talking without letting me talk and I got annoyed and said I’m not going to go down and use your f***ing services and from there she started blasting off at me. I was just shocked at the way she just talked. I know me using the f word also could have triggered her but she really went all out to say her piece. I was in shock but it’s expected I guess from such a bad service right from the start. I have wasted my time and my money her. I would have settled with a partial refund if she had approached it with some service recovery. I guess their mission “to provide customers with excellent service and best value” is just whack. What an experience…

26/09/2021 I have a horrible experience at this store, poor and rude service, unprofessionally done nails at D' Nails Lover, 1st store at the middle of the aisle with pink walls (I believe it's under D'Jewel since it's the same unit). Background: Went to did my nails today, saw that most shops are busy and this lady approached me. Enquired about French nail manicure and she replied $28, (note that this is way higher than other shops and she later offer $25 after I politely declined the offer) but seeing she was friendly I decided to give it a try. Once I settled in, another lady with visible tattoos took over her, (did not acknowledged me but that's fine with me) and later asked why I didn't want to do gelish, and I replied I just want a express manicure. She emphasized it's not going to be nice and did my nails in a really rushed manner. When she was cleaning away my dead skin, I twitched my finger a little and she looked up and GLARED at me fiercely??? During the process I already know that my nails are badly done but the one at my thumb was seriously too OBVIOUS & I informed her that the top part was painted out of line, and she replied "I told you already, no gelish it's not going to be nice", at this point I was really taken aback by her unprofessionalism and attitude. Certainly the worst service I encountered. I'm a paying customer and you keep telling me since I'm not doing gelish be mentally prepare it's going to be ugly? How is this acceptable and why would I even want to do gelish at the store with this service? Her attitude was so rude.. To be honest, she's lucky I'm not a confrontational customer and seeing how badly the nails are done, I simply let it slide. To the boss: This is not to shame her nor put her on the risk of losing her job. I think you should really work on your employees' services. I have see that a lot of other customers experienced the same thing based on the past reviews and believe this will not be the last. This is the first and last time I will be visiting the store and allow me to warn the others, please think twice before stepping in the store. You can certainly find better ones, cheaper than them and of BETTER SERVICE. Oh, I have also attached a photo of my "expect to be not nice" nails. My friends say they can do it better, and I think we can all agree to that lol.
