D’best Fishing - 94 Pasir Ris Central

We managed to make it into the Sure Catch pond for my 8 year old to experience the joy of reeling in a fish. Excellent service from the staff. Asked my daughter of she was doing ok every time they walk by and patiently helping us with the bait and photos with a good attitude. Parking is in good quantity just beside the pond. Toilet and drinks and food all available. The fishes do hook very easily and good for the young ones to experience success at fishing without long long waits. We caught 4 big fishes within an hour and there were at least three which got away, including one which broke the line and took the hook! It is not exactly cheap, my mother will tell me she can get bigger fishes at the market for less, but that's not the point. The excitement of reeling and fighting the fishes after they took the bait was worth it for sure. And we do have fresh fishes to cook at the end. You can get the staff to gut and clean the fishes, $2.50 per kg. Only 4 stars simply because we called to reserve a rod but was told no need. Yet when we first arrived, they were full. We waited for 30mins under the hot sun and just as we were about to leave, another family left and we got our spot.
