★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went D'best pawning is wasting money and time. The guy gave us our rods and told us to use baits lying around the area. It's dirty, soggy and tiny. After an hour, all rods not even a bite. Don’t go there to be frustrated and loose your money.

Felt like getting BBQ under the sun.
Had to take cover under the shade up the staircase at the jogging track for 30 mins to cool down. Maybe bus stop size shelters would be great.
Thanks to the gentleman beside us who advice and guide us how to fish there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was one time when I lost my temperas I was not catching any fish and I stormed off. When the boss saw that I was not enjoying my time there, he came up to me and gave me 3 fishes and a free sure catch ticket. When I denied, he gave ,me some time to calm down. When I returned to the pro pond, he guided me and showed me where the fishes were. With his guidance, I was able to land a decent size grouper. The staff at D'best fishing are very helpful. When you go to D'best fishing, don't worry about asking the staff about any questions you have about the place or fishing in general. They will not hesitate to answer any questions you have. They are also more than willing to guide new anglers. IMO this is the most family friendly place there is if you plan on having a family fishing trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for family especially if you want to hang out with your kids in this child friendly environment. The fishing pond was also easy to access from Pasir Ris MRT. Very convenient!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attached my sister's photo because she is a much better fisherman than me! I have never caught a fish before and I was sure I wasn't going to get any again this time. While a couple of Japanese kids were already on their 4th catch, I had already lost 6 prawns trying to catch one fish! The Malay uncles were very encouraging, or maybe I was free entertainment to them. It must be funny to see someone struggle in a sure catch pond. That said, with a little bit of help from management, I did catch a couple! I was impressed myself. I had a whole lot of fun and made good memories. Thanks!
