DBS Plaza Singapura Branch - 68 Orchard Rd

If can I WILL NOT GIVE EVEN 1 STAR. Bad service. I lost 5.4K in DBS and come here to find out. One of your customer service staff (i know the name), She pass me a letter of dispute transaction. 1 hour plus later, She called me that she amend the letter that she pass me earlier and want me come back to sign. How can your staff just amend the letter WITHOUT ASK FOR MY PERMISSION. This happened yesterday and I do call the hotline spoke to customer service again, she mention will ask the branch manager call me today. And I didn't get any call today. This the way DBS handle my case. Due to I am a foreigner with work permit holder not a local Nationality discrimination.

Very bad experience with counter staff. She couldnt hear me clearly cause of the glass between us and raised her voice while sounding annoyed that she couldn't hear me. She can ask me nicely to talk closer so she can hear me right? No instead she was rude and talked loudly and rudely the entire conversation. I have been banking in money at counter for many years due to my job and have never encountered a counter staff as rude as her. I know her name but i will not call her out. Pls teach your staff to deal with customers properly DBS plaza sing.

The staff outside giving the queue number was so slow. They should just give a queue number and make it quick. They are asking so many qns and it's just plain annoying! And this branch doesn't look like a bank at all. There are bicycles on the wall for deco , I mean what is the link between a bicycle and a bank? The interior deco looks like a pub or drinking place. I am not sure which dbs official approved this silly design for a bank but it makes no sense. Please look into the efficiency of your staff urgently. We come to the bank to have quick fast simple service , not be irritated by so many qns and be slowed down.

Went in at 11am. Was told there was a four hour queue and to be on standby to come in when they called me. Went in after four hours to check only to be told I wouldn’t be seen today (with still 2.5 hours to go till closing time). Queue system and lack of account handlers is shocking.

Appalling wait time of 90 minutes to do a simple task such as update a passport number at DBS. The “greeter” when I took a queue number tried to get me to leave by says 17 people in the queue ahead of me. My reply was “ I have to get it done and same everywhere else”. The girl who served me was pleasant enough but not even a hint of an apology for having made a customer wait that long. It was in the morning. Yesterday at DBS Suntec in the afternoon they stopped giving out queue numbers as couldn’t deal with anymore customers that day. Saving grace was chairs and tables cafe style but not allowed to eat or drink to sit at while you endure your terminal wait. DBS your automation is failing you if this is your new banking experience and you need more staff

The staff were cordial and helpful. I had to gone to increase my SRS limit and the work was done fast. The staff managing the queue even asked me when I was leaving if everything was resolved. Five stars.
