De Master Locksmith - 168 Punggol Field

As I'm writing this now, sadly the locksmith could be no more. Was told the news that he is packing things up and moving off into the unknown future. Sincere and trustworthy, not to mention affordable service. Anybody knows of his latest whereabouts, please keep us updated please!

The locksmith overcharged us for a service which would have only cost us max 50-70bucks. Including the purchase of the latch. Instead we were charged 120bucks. Moreover, he came only a day later than the scheduled time. Receipt was also without any company stamp or details.

Called him at almost midnight as my young daughter n hubby was locked inside the toilet by a faulty door handle. Arrived in 30min. As there was no physical screw point on the outside the door lock has to be broken. He also replaced with a new handle. With the extent of work i would say the charges were reasonable. Highly recommended!

My door knob got jammed. It seems to be a common problem with HDB doors in Punggol. Tried calling other locksmiths from the internet first. But, they seem to have no clue abt this issue. So, I called De Master Locksmith & he understood the issue without much explanation. He was also onsite within 15mins. Probably he understood the urgency that my kids were sleeping inside & they were locked with a totally hopeless door knob. Once onsite he opened the knob in about 10 mins & installed a new knob in about another 5 mins. Kudos to him for going the extra mile to ensure that the door knob aligned well with the frame. This shows his commitment to the task that he is handling. Furthermore, he got another call with another door issue (potentially another business - more $$$) but he quickly answered the other caller and got back to my task & spent more time checking the door's knob & its alignment multiple time before he looked at his phone again. Highly recommended.

There is no physical store. They're only a locksmith service. No key duplicate service.

Called in to help unlock a door as I was locked out of my room. Very responsive after I sent my address. Needed to wait quite a while but I was not in the rush so it was alright. The locksmith was very polite and also apologised for being late. The door unlocked in less than 5 minutes and told me that I could call back if there are any problems with the lock. He even gave me some advice for digital locks. Highly recommend.
