R	Royal Pears on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn’t taste much of the tako in the small takoyakis. The beef in the roast beef don was ok but the taste of the rice, gravy and lettuce wasn’t great.
A	Addy K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mediocre Japanese food. We ordered Hamburger and Steak set, clam chowder, Unagi Don with takopachi. All the dishes tasted as if they were store bought from supermarket. Miso soup was extremely bland. We paid a total of ~$80 for all the dishes and it’s definitely not worth the price tag. Upside is service is very quick and the waitress is very attentive.

Because there's no good Gyukatsu to be found where I come from, and Japan is pretty much off limits until who-knows-when. THIS! This is amazing. Thick juicy medium rare beef, coated with fried crispy tempura. So tender and delicious with their wasabi sauce. This is one time where I will say food in Singapore is better. The establishment is very humble and tucked within Sunshine Plaza near Bencoolen MRT. Love the vibe and service. Keep up the good work!

However, one LARGE downside is that the seats in the outlet is not well ventilated and you will be heavily drenched with the smell of oil and smoke from their cooking. Choose the tables outside if you would like to have a better eating experience but as a result you don't get the atmosphere. However, for the affordable price, there's nothing much to complain here... However if they can improve on the air ventilation, it will be a 5 stars.

Food was generally good and tasty, and served with lots of greens (except YG05). The vegetables were fresh. While there are no complaints on the quality of the food (4.5 stars), there seems to be missing that final punch for that last half star.

I like that they have different sized portions so that there’s no food wastage. My hubby and I ate there few times, the service was always good. My kids loved the omu rice. Due to pandemic we resorted to ordering online for delivery and the quality is still the same! Great as usual.
