Impressive food and good vibes. Came here to celebrate a birthday with a couple of friends and had the seats at the counter which feels quite cosy and you get to see the chef preparing the food up-close as well. He would chat with us and at times share a bit of food that he prepared off the menu which gave it a kind of Midnight Diner atmosphere. The background music is a mix of Japanese Theresa Teng songs and jazz. My friends had the Sashimi Donburi which was excellent. Loved the torched hotate, a couple of less common but tasty sashimi as well as a very good classic maguro. I had the Wagyu Bowl: it was a bowl of nicely seared wagyu topped with an onsen egg garnished with truffle. I really like that they also served it with garlic chips and the rice was lightly seasoned with tobiko mixed in. It was balanced and very delicious. Some of the appetizers we ordered and also had a taste of are the Fugu Mirin Boshi which is a sweet, "bak-kwa" like appetizer served with some kewpie mayo. A contrasting dish is the Ehire, which is grilled dried sting-ray fin, also a great choice as a drinking snack. Compared to the Fugu Mirin Boshi, it is savoury and comes apart in layers as you snack on it. We also try the Truffle Edamane which is edamane cook and tossed with truffle and salt, another addictive snack to have for drinks. We hope to go back again for their Mini-Omakase for the full one, watching the chef prepare for a full omakase, we observed a number of interesting dishes. The chef is an experienced professional as well, with years of experience working in Aomori, Japan to places in Europe, watching him combining the different ingredients with confidence is quite an experience itself as well.

The food here was amazing! Freshness guaranteed: some food items were taken out from the fridge, I noticed they were stored properly wrapped up in paper or plastic and stored in a box. The portion of the kaisen Don was perfect for the size of the bowl, thick cuts were given, the assortment of sashimi was meticulously arranged on top of the bowl making it was visually tantalising. My friends and I sat at the bar counter, it was a wonderful experience to have small chats with the chef, and on top of that the chef offered us some small samples to try.

A new gem located at the corner of Level 3! Friendly staff and great service. Ordered the Wagyu Beef Bowl and the Sashimi Rice Bowl - both were awesome and priced reasonably. Will come back again to try the other items on the menu.
