For those looking for great dental service, please DO NOT waste your time with Dental Suites. I went there for routine scaling and polishing last Thursday night, first time been to this place. The next day after the scaling, my gum was a bit uncomfortable, but I thought it was normal.. just a bit sensitive, it will be okay soon. The following day, my gum started swelling up a little bit. But I still think it is fine.. Then Sunday morning around 5am (consider 2 and half day after the scaling), my gum is inflamed. Not the normal swelling and sensitive. It is inflamed, and very painful. I couldn’t chew, swallow or talk properly. Because the moment my close my upper and lower teeth together, it hurts. I took some pain killer because my family clinic and the dental clinic are both closed. On Monday, I couldn’t stand the pain and I went to my family clinic doctor. He gave me some medicine and suggested me to go back to the dentist. But I was a bit scared of going back to the dentist again. Today, which is Tuesday, the situation is still the same. Couldn’t chew, swallow properly. So I called Dental Suites wanted to fix an appointment. I called the clinic and the receptionist picked up. I told her I went there for scaling and polishing then after that my gum inflamed. Then she say “ probably is because your wisdom teeth inflamed” I say “cannot be, my wisdom tooth all grow out 10 years ago without causing me any pain or problems” Then she say “it could be the food stuck there and caused the inflammation” Come on lah! Listen to yourself…. I have been eating my whole life!!! Suddenly after the scaling I don’t know how to eat???? And the stupid food stuck in my mouth cause my gum inflamed so badly that I couldn’t even chew?? Then I was a bit angry I said ”then what can I do, can I go see the dentist tonight?” Then she say ”we only open on Thursday at night” Then I say ”but I can’t wait until Thursday” Then she say “if you cannot come down, then it is your problem already” EXCUSE ME??? I didn’t want to continue this, so I say “okay, never mind, I see what time I can go down, I will get back to you later, bye” Then she hang up!! Hang up even before I say bye. What the hell is that???? I am suffering, definitely because of the scaling that hurts my gum… and you treat your patient like this??? I didn’t ask for compensation or complaint!!! A receptionist who acts as if she is the doctor… told me must be because of my wisdom teeth, or because of the food I consume… and hang up my call. VERY RUDE and very unprofessional customer service. I will never go back to Dental Suites again…

They cancelled my appointment last minute so I made a new appointment with them. I was punctual on the day of my appointment but I waited there for 40 mins and it was still not my turn yet so I left the place feeling annoyed.

I just had my MOST HORRIBLE dental experience of my life!! It's the first time I visited this clinic and also the first time I rinsed out SO MUCH BLOOD! Took quite a few rinses to clear a bit and now as I typed, I could still taste the blood in my mouth. The receptionist who was the dentist assistant said that it's because I had not gone for cleaning for two years, why, is that even an excuse for the violent scaling/cleaning that I had experienced?? Hello, it's two years (or less), not 10 years!! After the super painful scaling work, Dr Wong flossed my teeth (also the first time I had a dentist flossed my teeth but I'm forever traumatised by it). The violent way she flossed is exactly what we had been taught NOT TO DO - flossing all my teeth faster than the time I spent flossing two teeth, and mind you, it's not in the zig-zag manner but it's chop chop straight in and straight out, not doing any good for my receding gum!!! But maybe she's rushing to have an early lunch, god knows. After the speedy polishing, the dentist applied this flouride gel on my gum and said this is very good for gum strengthening. I thought to myself "ok, not too bad, this is a new service, at least this saves a bit of my poor battered gum". Then when I saw my bill, they dare to charge $25 for Examination and Diagnosis and $25 for the flouride "treatment"! WHAT??? First of all, the dentist did not say anything related to "Examination and Diagnosis" and just went straight to causing me pain . Secondly, they should ASK ME if I want to have that $25 flouride gel applied! That said, the $150 bill is not even half as traumatising as my bloody gum now. (*CRY) Dental Suites certainly DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR but it's the least I could give here. I left the clinic feeling that the dentist really, really hates me. Go if you want to have a literally bloody and painful experience.

Good service, efficient scaling and polishing, alongside referring for the best treatments. More friendly than my previous dentist.
