β β β β β The attitude from the counter lady bebe is extremely rude.
A very disinterested doctor who finally provided no real answers to my skin issue. Wonβt recommend

β β β β β Dr. Kwah performed Mohs surgery on my nose 5 months ago and he did an amazing job! He was professional and kind, and a true expert in his field as evidenced by the fact that my nose has healed so well, you canβt even tell Iβve had surgery! I would highly recommend Dr. Kwah, especially for those looking for a best-in-class Mohs surgeon.

β β β β β I have struggled with bad psoraisis for the past 10 years. As i have travelled a lot in this time i have visited many different dermatologists and tried many different treatments to no avail i came to see Dr Raymond two weeks ago and after giving me injections in the worst places of my psoraisis and a two cream regimen it has all but cleared up i am so so happy as not itching continuously is wonderful. I will continue coming here as the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Would definately tell people to come here for all their dermatology needs.

β β β β β Polite and eager to help staff, no long waiting, dr. Raymond answered all my questions and didn't push to use medication / rush with mole removal. There is a blanket in the room, where he checks patient's skin, so it was not cold.

β β β β β I had a consultation with DR RAYMOND KWAH YUNG CHIEN
What became very clear quickly in the consultation is that the doctor was more interested in making me coming back for his 250$ consultation fee rather than spending time giving sound medical advice.
He missed to check on some symptoms I specifically mentioned to him.
He didn't want to expand on some of his recommendations, only to ask to come back in one months so we can "check", while arguing that in the end it's "all subjective"...
He made me wait 20min naked in his cold skin inspection room while seeing another patient in between (while he could have done it right after my consultation)
I asked for a written recommendation about the medications he advised, he was not bothered and just scribbled on a piece of paper the name of 3 medications
Overall this is the typical case of a doctor who can't be bothered and just want to milk the clients. 0 interest in helping his patients.
Do yourself a favour and avoid. There are much better doctors out there, it sadly takes a bit of trial and error.

β β β β β As a fair-skinned, blue-eyed blonde with a long history of sun exposure, skin cancer has been a major health concern for me. Five years ago, I was referred to Dr. Kwah at the Dermatology Specialists Clinic by my family physician and have been a patient of his ever since. In 2015 I underwent Mohs surgery for a growth near my nose. Since Dr. Kwah is one of Singaporeβs leading Mohs surgeons, I knew I was in good hands. The surgery was painless and done very efficiently. Since then I have only required routine check-ups but have also consulted with Dr. Kwah by email between appointments over any concerns I have had. He has always answered very promptly, providing helpful information and setting my mind at ease.
I have received the best of care at the Dermatology Specialists Clinic. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and always send me a reminder a few days before my next appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Kwah and the Dermatology Specialists Clinic to anyone with dermatology needs.

β β β β β Was relatively satisfied with the receptionist and doctor as they were nice and accommodating even though I had to wait for more than 30mins from the initial appointment time. The doctor explained very clearly and precise the diagnosis and next step in efficient manner.
But then came one staff in their back office. Nothing was wrong except her attitude and case handling skill. She tried to explain to me about the insurance coverage as there was some vague claimable items. She explained once, I said "Okay I understand" and offered her 2 options that were entirely me taking responsibility (email the insurer to inquire on my own, or to pay out-of-my-pocket and will try to claim later if possible).
But then she explained that if I do that, the insurer will come back to her and ask why she charges me that amount. I was like, because the clinic offers that service??? What's the problem? The worst case is that I won't get reimbursement, how does it affect her clinic? Moreover the clinic is listed under the insurer's direct-billing provider, with specific category/service that I searched for, how is it not covered?
Then AGAIN, she explained about the service in a not-very-pleasant manner as if she thought I dont understand English. Why? Is it because I'm Vietnamese? And she even said she can show me the list from my insurer if I don't trust her. I was not born yesterday. Do you think I managed to find and book the appointment at the clinic without doing my research about the basic information of what the service is about?
And which part of "Okay I understand" did you not understand? Explaining one simple service three.freaking.times is a waste of everyone's time given that I already had to wait for longer than expected. Whether the customer is right or wrong, good attitude and good experience is still the least you could offer to them.
