This place is legit. 烧肉 has crispy skin with a soft texture on the inside, char Siew is just as tender with a great gravy to match. Their roasted chicken is great too, tender with a good taste, not flaky at all. Best of all, they serve good portions of all 3 in 1 at such an affordable price. Would drive down just to buy from this stall evening with a long queue.

So much of media ravings about the Charcoal roasted "Dang Gui" (Angelica herb) in Bukit Batok district, its hard to resist especially when such item is not so common in the coffeeshop. The herb is often known for its health benefits to enrich blood and promote blood circulation as well as improving immunity and digestion. The noodle was well mixed in its sauce and texture was springy. Rice was generously drenched with braised sauce. The glistering skin of the duck was charcoal roasted with traditional taste. The skin color was presentable in its brown orange appearance and packed full of the herby aroma. The Angelica infused meat was succulent and has a good substantial amount of fats. At the base of the plate, you will find thick Angelica Herb gravy which is a perfect combination to go with the plain white rice. Char Siew was lean and not those kind of Hong Kong Style meat that we thought that would have come with fatty meat. However this is a sweet and healthier version of it. Roasted Meat on the other hand is nothing fanciful and rather ordinary without too much of crackling skin. Altogether, the meal cost us $27.70 with the meat and braised eggs as shown. Overall, I find that the star is still Dang Gui duck and we can skip the rest of the roasted meat if you have limited stomach space to try on.

Generous portion of duck meat and super shiok 当归 zhap! There's duck rice, duck noodle and duck horfun. Super worth it at $3.70!

Not bad. Roast pork was crispy. Dang gui duck was good. Char siew I find it a bit tough, would be better of there were some fats. Overall a good meal. You can see the stall having queue non stop haha

Came all the way from the North just to try this and was not dissapointed. Ordered the duck Ipoh hor fun to eat-in and takeaway duck rice with an added braised egg. Love the herbal fragrance with the pieces of duck meat. Sauce was fragrant and smooth, matches very well with the hor fun. Prefer this over the rice version. Will definitely come back again for the duck Ipoh hor fun. Location wise, still accessible but narrow spaces between tables. Did not find any accessible table in this coffee shop.

Hidden gem in the neighbourhood! Chanced upon this coffee shop diagonally opposite Le Quest. Saw that the roasted meat stall has a queue so i ordered from roasted dang gui duck (their signature) and roasted pork. Hubby ordered char siew rice. They were all tasty, especially the duck. Meat tender and moist with the sauce, pork skin crispy and crunchy. Rice is fragrant Went back there again yesterday evening to try the roasted chicken, not disappointed as well. Value for money (2 meats combo cost less than $5, probably slightly more for combo with duck which is understandable), they are not stingy with the portion. Highly recommended!
