Terrible. First they changed my appointment date, which messed up my schedule. Then when I reached the salon, stylist straight out said my hair was too fine and "cannot be permed" even though I told her I have permed my hair TWICE before. Consulted two other Korean salons after, and both said there's no problem with my hair at all. Maybe reconsider an alternative career but don't blame your incompetence on your customers.

DEFINATELY THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM A SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL HAIRSTYLIST THAT COST $40+! I was attended by the hairstylist, Haru. He was totally unprofessional. There were patches all over the side and the back of my head and the cut was uneven too. This guy simply can't be bothered to trim it properly and didn't even use a mirror to show me after the haircut. It was only after I left the salon that I realised it when my girlfriend told me. We tried to go back to the salon but they were closed for the day. Therefore my girlfriend called them to request them to trim my hair properly the following day. Upon arriving at the shop, Haru saw me and just sat behind the counter unapologetic. I was attended by another stylist, so I thought he was waiting for me to finish my haircut before coming to me to apologise or explained about last night's incident. To my surprise, after my haircut this guy was not at the counter. Super bad service from this so-called professional hairstylisr Haru, if you make a mistake just be a man, own up and apologise. Don't simply walk away and ignore your angry customer. This is definitely not the way to treat a customer. THIS IS THE WORST HAIRCUT I EVER HAD! THIS SHOP DEFINATELY DESERVES A ZERO RATING BECAUSE OF THEIR STAFF’s ATTITUDE

Joy Kim is a terrible hairstylist. Cut my left side much shorter than the right side. Had to go down the next day and received no apology whatsoever. Started trimming the right side and had to ask me if it was OK. It was still too long. Told her so and then she made things worse. Bad experience. First & last time I'll go there. Better to go to Apjugeong.

One year ago I left behind a superb review for lizzie as she never fails to disappoint me each time. Recently she went back Korea for personal reasons. I went back and just looked for a random stylist (lady with long curly hair). She had no passion in cutting my hair and handled it as though she was cutting vegetables. My hair cut turned out SO BAD. Too much layering until my hair has no shape, and flyaways everywhere. And left side is shorter than right side. It's as though she never graduated from hairstyling school. I was so disturbed as I'm someone who styles my hair everyday. Will not step in again until lizzie comes back. Photos as proof.

walk in on a weekday to have my hair cut and luckily enough there was availability. The guy who did my hair wash did it with care and in my opinion did a great job. The stylist (Blair) was friendly as well and does it according after checking with me my preferences. Overall it was a good experience and I would return the next time :)

Did colour and highlight there last week but the experience and result were both bad. Was trying to seek the director's expertise on whether my hair could tolerate highlight and coloring, but she only kept saying anything you like. Showed photo to the director on what I wanted, estimated the timing and concluded it was not possible to bleach 3x and colour. So the assistant suggested to highlight only inner part of hair and I agreed. In the end, they only bleached 2x and the highlight colour couldn't stay on even after the first day. Nobody could see the pink I chose but semi-bleached brown colour. Treatment wise was also not effective and my hair was not smooth even right after they blew dry in salon. They didn't dare to give me a mirror to see the result after treatment. I guess they also could see the highlight didn't work at all. The more ridiculous thing is.. they charged me 1x colour + highlight, 1x colour and 1x treatment for $500+! When I asked about the price before colouring, they only said colour+highlight $200+. I would never have expected to be charged 2 times of colouring! Won't recommend this place and will never return again

They now have new loyal customers. After seeing online reviews and strong recommendation by a friend, I went to DuSol for a haircut for me and my girlfriend. We were attended to by Lizzy, who knew exactly what we wanted and gave suggestions on what would work for us (and no pushing for packages and other services). Despite me not able to express what I wanted clearly, she understood right away and resolved the issue perfectly. The two assistants who helped us wash our hair were very pleasant and friendly too. Top class salon. We left very satisfied and now I will leave all my hair matters to Lizzy and DuSol. Git yo DuSol on.

Did a chemical perm to my hair at DuSol last July with Blair and had really good results with the curl. Had been going back for a haircut ever since on average about every 4-6 weeks. Blair is always attentive to the type of haircut I request for and never fails to share her professional opinion on whether it is one that is suitable for me due to how the cranium is shaped differently. She also teaches you how to style and maintain your hair in between your next cut. Pricing is not cheap but they tend to offer promotions occasionally to offset a bit of the consumer's cost. Comparatively to other Korean Hair Salon in Singapore, I would find the pricing to be reasonable.
