Very poor service! Too bad it’s the only place offering local coffee in the mall. I was told that my egg will take 7mins, to which I agreed. However, when I went back to check on it, they asked me if I kept track of time, which of course I didn’t! Then I was given a huge mug with 2 eggs and hot water. She promptly told me to scoop the eggs out when they’re done and discard the water. Incredible!

Ordered egg set and mee rubus. The coffees are pretty much tasteless. The noodle is hard and the gravy is too thin and watery..

Pleasantly surprised by the really great chicken rice I had a couple days again. Great alternative to paying premium prices for breakfast at Hotel. A decent breakfast set with kaya toast, a couple of eggs with a cup of coffee costs only SGD3.50.

Ordered my usual takeaway laksa with top up extra of fried beancurd with fish paste and fish dumplings. No default laksa leaves and chilli added even thought i verified with the staff(guy) before takeaway. Beancurd with fish paste was not fried as what the ladies usually did. Overall, super disappointed. First time seeing the male staff. Probably SOP not communicated properly or he simply lazy.

I'm a little concerned on the level of hygiene here. I ordered a Toast set when the lady who was slicing raw pork at the moment came serve me and put the bread into the toaster. I told her she has not washed her hands after handling the raw pork. She said she uses the gloves to take the bread, then she reluctantly rinse her hands under the water for a second (Without Soap) and make my coffee. You see, the plastic gloves that they uses to prepare the bread are used repeatedly and it's already contaminated. Imagine the next person uses it and after prepare your coffee. I really wander if this is how they were taught in the Food Safety course. That aside their half boiled eggs also got no standard.

Ordered laksa yesterday, food below average, came without cockles, I asked from the staff, then she turned to take from fridge, I understand some customers don’t like cockles but staff should ask first, don’t assume, and …before she adding cockles to the laksa after I requested she removed something ( I think is the Tao pok) from my bowl… this is so not professional and looked cheap. Sorry! Need to polish up the service and improve fhe food quality.

Average local cafe, good for reasonably priced food like a slightly upmarket local coffeeshop. Nothing spectacular except for its popular lor mee. Laksa is palatable, though soup is not so thick and requires added chilli for more enjoyable spiciness. Coffee is quite thinny in texture. You're better off ordering cold drinks than the beverages here.
