Bought GLB200 from them. Sales and after sales service were good. Also helped to consign existing vehicle. Gary was patient in selling vehicle and stating its pros and cons. No hidden prices and charges. Will definitely purchase new cars from them

Meet Kelvin Chin from Edmund Motor during a my dream car Toyota RAV4 shopping day after CNY? First impression - very pleasant and knowledagable. I don't feel coerced but rather I was won over by Kelvin’s easy manner and patience. The price of the car was very reasonable (from my market research) and there are no hidden costs and gimmicks. Price with guaranteed coe even coe went up? Kelvin was extremely responsive and fast. Even to my last minute requests, he obliged willingly and very quickly. I collected my brand new car slightly after one week which was really quick. Kelvin was very thorough in his explanation on the car purchase? I will definitely recommend Kelvin to my family and my friends who looking for a car☺️ This is my first and very happy experience with a parallel importer (Edmund Motor Pte Ltd). Well done Kelvin! A pleasure dealing with you and Thank You?for being such a wonderful car salesman.☺️

I will give zero stars if there is an option due to bad customer service via whatsapp. Responded to a FB advertisement by Edmund Motor and Ernest replied me. He told me an unusual clause for 3k financial agreement fee for a loan so I asked about it. Because my previous cars from authorized car dealers work the other way, 5k cash rebate if you take loan rather than pay in full.. His reply was if you get a car from authroized dealer, they can always priced it higher then give cash rebate. Which I told him it's true and it works the same way too, they can price it lower but add in extra fees. He went on to say the price of 109k is nett and no further additional fees apart from financial agreement fee. I ask him to state all the perks and terms and conditions. His reply was if you are NOT convinced, drop by showroom and everything will be stated in sales agreement. I then reply his previous message which stated is from 109k and is not nett. So why do you do FB advertisement if no information is given when enquired? I told him it's NOT that I'm not convinced but just doing my research and money is not an issue to me. His reply became TAUNTING in nature.. 'Since money isn't an issue, we can do a cash deal at 109k nett, deal? no extra.. u are welcome at the showroom for the best deal.' Wow.. this wasn't good service I was expecting.. if you are sure ur company gives the best deal, why r u hidding all the info? I was waiting for more information about the car as stated in the FB post on 1. free 10 years warranty plus free servicing, 2) car accessories and COE included, 3) lowest interest rate from 1.28 with bank loan 4) 0% downpayment with 1.88 interest rate with 10 years loan... (so beware, of a 3k financial agreement fee if anyone is opting for point number 4 as advertised) Strangely, when I say, money is not an issue, he did not quote 1.28% with bank loan. But still tell me I can opt for bank loan with 40% downpayment with no financial agreement fee at all but it's at 1.88% and not the advertised 1.28%, another fishy part?) I went to do more research on Edmund Motor reviews. Out of 23 reviews, I read 4 bad ones. Send it to him and Ernest say some of those reviews are done by competitor dealers. I wanted to reply him likewise, good reviews can also be done by your own staff right? I went to do more research on car dealers and realised it's my first time dealing with such car dealers where I'm treading into territory usually for terrible or no credit people. All my previous cars are from authorised car dealers and service was good so quite unlucky, the first FB post i reply turns out bad service and attitude.. I think I should go back to authorised car dealers.

We were looking for a second hand affordable car, our first time buying a car. We saw on sg carmart a suzuki at $5500 depre/year. We contacted Jimmy for test drive. Jimmy was very patient and understanding, explaining to us in detail about car maintenance, differences in finances for new and old car. He understood our concerns and needs, and provided good recommendations. Jimmy is very friendly! Will recommend Jimmy if you are looking for a car.

I bought my a Mercedes GLC300 from Edmund Motors. I was attended to by Gary Yap. Gary was patience with me. He ensured that all my questions were attended. He made sure I was comfortable and the questions answered to my satisfaction. Gary’s way of customer service is second-to-none. He even followed up with me months after I took delivery of the car and also asked about my well being. All in all, their after service is excellent too, including car maintenance services at their approved/authorized workshops. If you intend to get a car from a parallel importer or even from an authorized car dealer in Singapore, make sure it’s Edmund Motors and ask for Gary Yap.

11th Feb 2020: Shortlisted a 9 years old Jaguar XJL Diesel from them. Gary came across as a very honest and customer- oriented guy, he was willing to drive the vehicle to a place and time of my convenience for viewing. He assured me that the car was in perfect condition and specifically said that the biggest worry about old continental cars are the suspension related issues, such as control arms and bushings. But no such issue with this car. I trusted (bad choice on my part) his words and within 10 minutes, without even test driving or looking over the car, I signed the sales agreement with him. 14th Feb 2020: Fast forward to 3 days later, collected the car on a Friday evening. First thing I noticed was there was an obvious sound coming from the front suspension especially over uneven road surfaces. Front end of car felt very loose and was rocking side by side over any undulating surfaces. Feedback to Gary immediately and was again he reassured that he did not find anything wrong while he was driving the car the past few days. He advised me to do a wheel alignment which will resolve the problem. Well, after driving for 20 years and owning more than 15 different cars, I am very sure this was not just something that a simple alignment can solve. So brought the car to my trusted workshop and got both front wheels off. 1 front absorber was leaking fluid, absorber mountings, absorber plane bearings, 4 lower control arm bushings, all shot up, crackedor disintegrated. Repair came to more than $3K. I had photos of all the faulty parts and sent it to Gary. Well, pictorial proofs speak a thousand words so there was no way he can wormed his way out of this one. He said he has escalated the issue up to his boss and they are considering helping to reimburse a portion of the repair costs. This was exactly 1 week after collecting my car on 21st Feb 2020. 25th Feb 2020: Asked Gary about the decision from his boss. He mentioned he was going into a meeting and will ask his boss directly. 26th Feb 2020: I had to initiate and ask the same question again, reply from Gary was that his boss still needs to consider. 2nd Mar 2020: After radio silence of 5 days, no news, I had to initiate the conversation again. Again Gary mentioned he was in a meeting and will get back to me after he talk to his boss. 3rd Mar 2020: I had to initiate the question again. In the end Gary said he will use the commission earned from the sale of this car to reimburse me, he will help to bear whatever he can. 11th Mar 2020: Nothing heard out. I gave up and told him no need to reimburse me or anything. Because I am 99.9% sure in the end, nothing will come out of it. I had to admit that it was partly my fault for not testing the car and believing the words of the car salesperson (but are there really honest car salesman out there?). But taking Gary’s word that there was totally nothing wrong, and later finding out that the front suspension are all shot up to warrant a $3K repair, it just proved that there was very gross misrepresentation by Gary that in his quest to sell a car, he can talk or promise anything. Post sales, after I have highlighted the problems, he never once took the initiative to get back to me. I had to keep prodding him and chasing him, time and again, hoping to find out the outcome, just to meet with excuses after excuses. This left a very bad taste in my mouth and reminded me of a past bad debt where the debtor will keep delaying and delaying with excuses in the hope that you would give up trying to recoup your money. Which is what happened then, and what is happening here with Gary. If you are purchasing used cars, take what they said with a pinch of salt, do your own due diligence to test the car out. It is not the number of satisfied customers but how you handle the dissatisfied customers that speaks about a company. And 1 dissatisfied customer, is too many. For Edmund Motor, I am that 1 dissatisfied customer.

I dropped into today and they were extremely welcoming. I was looking at a couple of cars they had in the showroom and halfway through I had to stop for an online work meeting (on my laptop) which they kindly provided a table and chair for. Can’t thank them enough…and who knows, I may come back and eventually buy a car!
