I've always had trouble with straining my voice after talking too much or after a night out. She helped me find ways to project my voice without straining it and helped me understand what was going on. She is a patient teacher and is clear in explaining what we're doing and why. I also appreciate that she backs up what she's saying with diagrams to really help me understand whats going on in my body. I'd gone to several music teachers & vocal coaches that just told you what to do but didn't really explain why we were doing certain exercises. I never really thought I could like 'sing sing' until went to Pam who taught me that my voice is just like any other instrument that I can learn. Pam makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I've seen myself improve so much and I always get excited everytime I hear myself singing things I never imagined I could sing!

Pam is very patience in teaching and making things simple to understand for layman. She journey with me and help me breakthrough meeting my goal of singing in Chinese songs at indoor stadium. Enjoy the weekly session. Time is easy to pass by as she is friendly in explaining the singing techniques dos and dont. Making lessons extremely fun!

Pam is a capable and knowledgeable vocal coach. She is patient but also quick to answer any questions I have about the issues I face in my vocal delivery and performance. I joined her as a beginner and through my lessons with her, I have gained confidence and control over my vocals. I highly recommend her as a vocal coach!

Love love love my vocal lessons with Pam! I’ve been singing for a long time and over the years, cultivated bad techniques which have been a struggle to correct. Pam has been the only teacher that has been able to help me visualise concepts that I was able to understand & practice. With Pam, I have been able to experience “achievement unlocked” moments haha! She’s the best!

Pam has not only given me the tools to reach my potential as a vocalist, she has also created a safe space for everyone to explore their abilities and to be themselves. After just a few months, I have developed a confidence I never had before. It helps that Pam genuinely loves what she does and has a sincere desire to help shape her students into the best they can be. Such a fantastic experience, I've loved every minute of it!

Pam really helped me gain confidence in my singing as a beginner!! She is patient and encouraging and knowledgeable, able to identify any issues very quickly and address them. Pam has taken me on an amazing journey of self-discovery with my 60-year-old instrument. I thought I could not sing as life has panned out as such but I know now, it is not true. I can actually do that something which I thought I could not during much of the first 58 years of my life. Initially, the lessons simply sound like imitating all sorts of noises, experiencing new subtle sensations and new sounds. Yes, I am confused many times and bombard Pam with questions to which she always cares to reply and explain. After several months, I was rewarded – I successfully sang my first song in front of a group-class. My ears are no longer like when I was young anymore but through Pam, she taught me to sharpen my attentiveness to listen. She taught me body awareness, to feel those internal sensations so that I can strive to replicate them. Pam’s lessons are always enjoyable, always! Always fun, encouraging, and above all, satisfying to achieve my self-defined set of goals. I always prepare and look forward to lesson-time! Anyone trying to sing, or already singing but wonder about that elusive something, or maybe trying out singing therapy, I would strongly recommend you to go to Pam. Be patient. I attended a single 1.5 hour session with Pam as a means of extending my vocal diversity. It was one of the best experiences I've had with any voice teacher I've seen in my life. The combination of her knowledge of the voice, the acuteness of her hearing and specificity of her analyzing of what constitutes each specific sound (in the songs I wanted to work on), her user-friendly cues that help signal my body to respond in a way which best guides me to a desired sound, and her friendly and cheerful demeanor all came together to provide a wonderful atmosphere and environment for learning. Her home studio is also within a very reasonable walking distance (about 6-7mins) from Kovan MRT, which is a rather central location in Singapore. The home studio is rather spacious, allowing for a generous amount space for the singer to not feel too claustrophobic. Or, if the singer is so inclined to move while singing, there is a reasonable amount of wiggle room. In addition, Pam has an awesome tech set-up with a large screen to display any charts/diagrams that aid in any explanation of basic anatomy and vocal terminology, as well as to display song lyrics and/or karaoke tracks so that its easy for the singer to follow-along as they sing. Pam herself is more than capable of demonstrating the sounds that she teaches. From my perspective at least, every sound I wanted to learn during the session was entirely possible for her to demonstrate. So for the people out there who learn well via listening and imitating, she is more than able in that region as well. If I had nowhere else that I needed to prioritize my finances for the time being, I would 100% be coming to see Pam as often as possible to keep learning. As of now, I still plan to come see her whenever I am able to. And I would highly high HIGHLY recommend Pam's services and skillset to anyone who is interested in learning how to be a more educated pop-music singer (contemporary vocal technique) and heighten their awareness of their use of voice for the various styles involved in the genre.
