★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful open lawn in historic civic district. Many monuments around this area. NParks also preserved many heritage trees if you look out for the signage of the trees. Rock concert is sometimes organized here too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed sitting there there are few great places to sit where you can sit in sunight as well. You can sit under the tree shadow. The place is very calm smd cool. Somtime i do even sleep there in lunch time when i feel so tired. Last night we went there to see 2019 new year count down. It was a great location and lot of people were there.. we enjoy there.
Thank you staff for always making this place clean and all the people who helped singapore to make this place very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surrounded by Victorian architecture of the 1800's. Spent a delightful morning viewing National Day fly overs, suspended flags from choppers and escaped to the Asian Civilisation Museum for aircon and lunch
