Dear Sir/Mdm, I refer to the dine in experience with both of my kids dated 9th Jan 202, 8:31pm at Encik Tan @ Yew Tee. Firstly, I would like to commend that the taste and quality of the food prepared are good. Was serve by (I presumed she was the supervisor/manager as she was wearing black overall and her name is Jess according to one of the staff) a lady in black for a plate of carrot cake while my kids ordered another 2 plates of curry chicken rice. Understand that the company policy of having different POS for different section as I couldn't lump the entire bills (my kids and mine meals) to make payment to her. That's fine. However, when I asked her about using payWave to make payment, she said is fine only until waiting for 10 minutes later that only cash payment is allowed. Strange that so many electronic payment gadgets laying around. Lastly, the entire experience was me having to deal with her blacken face (not professional) with the following happenings: 1. I was billed $8 instead of $4 and she wasn't even aware that she had received only $4 from me. 2. Reminded at least 3 times not to topped up spring onions but serve with it in the end. Couldn't hold back my disappointment and told her the mistake. Not a word of apology and although it was exchanged, it was done with a bad attitude. 3. Once again, I understood that we are all human and there are moments that we may be overwhelmed by physical/mental tiredness. However, there is a bottom-line which in every industry, including F & B, have to comply. Thanks very much.

I agree that the auntie manning the noodle stall was very rude. She was so grumpy and had no respect for customers. She needed to be trained on how to serve customers politely. There was also no proper sign to indicate the direction of the queue for the rice and the noodle stall. I was also disappointed when I was told by the lady manning the rice stall that the sambal sotong curry has finished when it was only at 6.00 pm which was the usual time when people go for dinner. To make matter worst, when I asked for popiah, she also said sold out. I think they should also ensure that they had enough food as stated in their menu. I would understand if the food were sold out by 8.00 pm but this was sold out at only 6.00 pm!

The aunty making the noodles was so rude to us. We reached at 845pm and she just yelled saying that she is closing in 30 mins time and she has to check whether she has all the ingredients to do our mini wok or not. She was already making for another customer and at 857pm she started doing ours without informing us that most of the ingredients are no more. Terrible service. I hope the mamagement do something about this aunty if not you will loose your business ober time. Upset customer. NOT recommended at all.

4 times i order grab food all the orders got it wrong.

I have a plate of Sambal Sotong Curry Rice this evening. The sotong tasted smelly and definitely stale. I feedback to the counter staff, she did not apologise and do nothing to test the existing sotong for sale at the counter. I guess she feels that it is correct that the sotong should taste smelly . Quite hopeless……

Generally good food. Would be nice if the fried oysters were fresher, had less grit, and has a higher egg-to-starch ratio

Food quality is good, tasty and constantly maintained. I love the fried kuay tiao and fried oyster!

Ordered chicken meatball noodles but the meatballs were indistinguishable from fishballs. Showed the staff and asked about this and was told they were "mixed with fish meat". It looks totally different from the picture shown at the signboard. Chicken meatballs become "mixed with fish meat" fish balls. Will never patronise again.
