Drink are very cheap as compared to nearby coffeeshop. 菜饭 is affordable and reasonable Unfortunately the (纸包鸡) chicken stall has relocated. I hope the place will attract more crowd and biz.

I am giving this place a 2 star rating because of the economical rice stall. By right, the food is not bad but one of the uncle has a very poor attitude. He is the short guy with side parting hair. Whenever I want to order food from the stall, he starts to sulk and behave as if I am asking for free food. To add on, he is rude towards other patrons too. I wont recommend this place.

Not an easy place to get to and has very little convenience but quite a peaceful neighbourhood with good kolo mee and coffee

The stalls here taste great. But the drinks are not nice.

It's OK... No see the German food that give this place the German name. Got that old fashion paper wrapped chicken that used to be outside NP.

Epic Haus Coffee shop is still open though the German food stall is gone. It's now just like many other coffee shops in heartland Singapore. A chap cai peng (cooked food with rice) stall has replaced the German tenant

In this coffee shop, so far I think only Fatty seafood and the mixed rice stall can make it, the rest are mediocre or even below average. This coffee shop was dead and miserable a year ago until Fatty Seafood starts its operation. Food from Fatty is excellent and economical, suitable for family and individuals. The only setback about this place is the lack of management, I guess. The fat drink woman who serves drinks in the evening is lazy and spent most of the time chitchatting. Toilet doesn't even have a mirror and run down compared to other brands of chain-stores.

I have to say there's not enough credits given to the roast meat store that specialises in dang gui duck. One of the best I've tried. The cai fan store is really awesome as well the dishes were very flavourful and with wok hei generous and delicious! I don't understand the over hype of the sarawak noodle stall the only fav is the laksa version.
