CASH ONLY. Nice open-air dining under a HDB block. The food was very flavourful. Your usual zi char selections are available here. Their specialities include the marmite pork ribs and the crispy tofu. The pork ribs were crispy but very sweet! The tofu was interesting and had a generous portion of crispy cai poh topped on it. Staff are friendly and can help to recommend dishes.

Came to take out Western food. This coffee shop has quite good food selections. I will come often for the wanton noodles, the buns and even the vegetable rice place as well.

Amazing crispy tofu topped with deep fried β€œcai-poh” (preserved veg)! Their signature dish truly didnt disappoint! We ordered a few other dishes and they were decent as well.

Our go to for zichar - ordered from them multiple times and have always enjoyed the dishes! Our favs are the harcheongkai, salted egg sotong, salted fish fried rice, kangkong, hot plate tofu and cereal prawns (they can deshell it for you too!). The only dish we’ve been disappointed with is the squid youtiao as it’s really more dough than anything. This place is really convenient as we can call them beforehand to place an order and then just swing by to collect the food.

Beside reading all the review, and the flavorful taste, can tell that the chef even pay attention to food presentation. Good food , good portion , good pricing, using real ingredient and being creative on the taste & visual. An exhilarating gastronomic experience. Overall , a wonderful Zhi Char place that is worthy to be patron again.

A good eating place for simple, tasty traditional Chinese dishes. The restaurant has been around for 25 years + . Our parents used to bring the family there for dinners. Recently we rediscovered the place ourselves and brought our parents there again for dinners. Our parents were very happy to find all the dishes still taste as good as before and the restaurant helps bring back many good memories. Our favourite dish is coffee pork ribs - highly recommended.

I took away some dishes. I think they are better consumed there. I liked the squid in salted egg yolk sauce. Tofu was also not bad. A bit unusual. Kang Kong is ok. Just that the price was higher than usual.

More of an average zichar place. Perhaps, it is because we ordered average dishes too. The shrimp paste chicken was fragrant and crunchy. Having it in large size was certainly a satisfying sight. The fried caibo on top of tofu was tastier than tofu itself. Salted egg cuttlefish was not too bad. The cereal prawn and yam were a bit disappointing. Both too dry. Ironically, the soup was tastier than usual. But, the ambience was great. Windy β€œalfresco” environment, clean table and floor. It is a nice place to meet up with family after an extended period of COVID separation.
