Handmade popiah is one of Singapore's local delicacy that accompanied us during our younger days here. This stall at Old Airport Road Market, serves one of the best popiah in Singapore. Their popiah skin are freshly made by hand, which has a soft and chewy texture. Packed with a mixture of generous ingredients like turnips, eggs, beansprouts and peanuts. Each popiah is only made upon each order, hand wrapped by them. With the combination of chilli and garlic within, each bite on the popiah was heavenly crunchy, flavorful with the right balance of sweetness to it. Loved it to the max !!!

Ordered a piece of popiah here and found it to be pretty average. No “wow” feeling after tasting it but it was not bad tasting either. They do sell kuay pie tie here as well which I may try the next time.

First time ordering here. Saw someone eating Muah Chee and my wife decided she wants to have a plate too. Haven’t had muah Chee for a long time so not sure what the prices are but this is $2.50 for a rather large portion. Taste is good but some are not properly cut so we have some very long pieces.

There are two popiah stores there, I didn't try next one, as the store owner looks professionally making the food, I ordered Muah Chee for kids, they like it, and I decided to have a plate too. $2.50 for a rather large portion and taste is nice, popiah with chilli is yummy.

Really cheap, light in taste (in a good way) and allows to buy one. Some popiah places make you buy at least two.

There are 2 popiah stall side by side. I would recommend the one on the right - Fu Cheng. Its more expensive at $2 / pc compared to $1.70 / pc at Hock Guan but its tastier. If you want to go for good quality popiah skin with good ingredients like thinly sliced cucumber, go for the purple signage one - Homemade springroll skin.
