★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happen to have late lunch. Saw the freshly cook bittergourd fish head. Decided to order with 3 pieces midwing sesame sauce chicken. Total $5 only. Fish head was crispy on the outside with soft tender meat on the inside. Very satisfied

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inflation hasn't reached Berseh Market :) The fried fishes are 2.5cm thick. Rice, vegetable and egg is like a little hill. Costs S$5.50. Not the kind of food for everyone, but a staple for many including me. If only they won't char the egg whenever I happen to eat here..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A class in itself. Not your run of the mill yet totally so homely type of food. Curry chicken, luncheon meat and a veggie set me back $3.70. A very happy meal instead; the luncheon meat was thick, a generous amount of spinach and there was 3 pieces of mid wings in the curry.
