Fei Zhu Lok Lok - 1010 Tai Seng Ave

Keep promoting this store to my friends and family. The first time we went there was during Circuit Breaker, it was great! Everything is fresh and good! Long queue as well. But the recently visit, is totally bad. Very bad. Food quality drop, staff was not friendly at all. Talking all the way while mask down and prepare the food. Should really look into the hygiene issue. Food quality was so so so poor. Now, theres no queue at all. I will not really recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy good lok lok. Sad that they were once one of the best i ever had in Singapore. Now it become like that. Have to find a new loklok spot again.

☺️ - Tasty sauce! Still undecided which is my favorite! The chilli sauce mixed with white rice tastes fantastic! - Good selection of food choices and well cooked. - Place is cooling with nice music. ☹️ - Long waiting time. Waited for 40mins. Unavoidable since the place is trending on social media now. - Quantity per stick can be improved. Quite stingy with the amount of sauce too.

$1 per stick, very reasonably priced. Fried skewers, so a little greasy but definitely go well with beer. The spice powder added great flavor. But the real winner is the various sauce mixes, all are well-balanced and work great with fried food. Well done. Btw, Thai KTV feel at a coffee shop in the evening is an interesting ambient.

really worth it for $1 per stick?? Shiok sauce really SHIOK!? other sauce quite nice too the food were fresh and well fried? the coffee shop plays thai song and later at night there will be disco light ? will definitely visit again!??

Suggest why not fried the noodles or rice

It’s my 3rd timing visiting FZLL. So far, I’ve always had a very good experience, the food standards have been consistent since their opening. They have always added new items to their menu, which is a refreshing take for me. I look forward to interesting additions to their menu and would recommend people to come try! Please their shiok sauce btw!

We visited on a weekday evening and there was not much queue, just 2 couples in front of us. There is no tongs and no gloves provided. Customers use their hands to take the food and some of the skewers are not placed neatly so there's possible contamination when taking them. The food was not fried properly. All of the food items were lukewarm even though they were supposed to be freshly fried upon order. The zai er was not even crispy! If they cannot properly cook the food when there's not much people, imagine if there's more crowds? The shiok sauce was good but the other sauces are not very good. Seems like low quality and diluted too. And they only put the rest of the sauces outside and limit on the shiok sauce. We ordered 36 skewers but was only given 1 serving of shiok sauce and told that we have to buy a bottle if we want more (it costs $10 for a small bottle). They told us the other sauces are unlimited but as mentioned, those were not very good. We noticed another couple beside our table who bought the bottle of their shiok sauce because they wanted more and couldn't get it for free when they asked... $10 for chili? No thanks. They charge $1 for a side of rice or instant noodle with a dollop of shiok sauce. The portion is super small for $1. The rice was clumpy and the instant noodle was overcooked. Very underwhelming. The staff were also not friendly at all. Perhaps the weather is hot and it's a coffeeshop setting so we shouldn't expect too much in terms of customer service, but a basic greeting reply when we say "hi!" shouldn't be too much to ask for right? Instead of drinking beer with friends outside the store, focus on running the business properly. I've only tried 2 Lok Lok stores in Singapore, the other being DLLM Lok Lok. I'll recommend going to that outlet instead because that place is cleaner, service is better, food is prepared properly and the sauces are good. The only plus point at Fei Zhu Lok Lok is the ample parking space. I will not return. It's not worth the effort, time or money.

Very bad experience. Worst Lok Lok place so far. There were not even many people on a Saturday evening and yet they took SO LONG to prepare. Waited for close to 1 hour even though there were only a few people in front of us! They are simply too slow, cooking one by one. The other customers waited for very long too and kept checking with them when their food would be ready. RIDICULOUS. The staff was extremely IRRESPONSIBLE too. He cooked the food and served other customers first even though they ordered after us. I was so shocked to see them getting their food first. This is because he didn't even arrange the customers' trays properly. He just put all the customers' trays together and randomly fry them without following the queue order. That was so unprofessional and unfair. Even though we came first, we got served later than others. After seeing that, my boyfriend finally went to ask them why is that so and they admitted it is their mistake too. NO STANDARDS AT ALL. Really extremely HORRIBLE PLACE. Will not return.
