★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great soufflé pancakes! We got the one with honeycomb nut butter instead of cream and it’s so good. The butter went very well with the pancakes. Definitely give it a try! Chocolate Affogato was great too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flipper’s Singapore – Japan’s Famous Souffle Pancake
It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to make the pancake on custom-made griddles from Japan. They do not use any pancake ring mould. The pancakes are expertly flipped to get that beautiful golden-brown top and bottom. Flipper’s Singapore uses Hinata eggs from Kanagawa prefecture. The eggs give the souffle pancakes an airy and delicate consistency. They also use Japanese flour milled from Hokkaido wheat.
Some of the items from the menu we have tasted and recommends:
Soup of the Day: Mushroom $5.50
Keiseki Pancake Egg Benedict $22.80
(Poached Hinata eggs, tiger prawns, avocado, smoked salmon, sauteed spinach and salad with sesame yuzu dressing)
Keiseki Pancake, Maple Bacon and Fried Egg $22.80
(Turkey bacon, fried Toretama egg, homemade rosti, salad with sesame yuzu dressing and maple syrup on the side)
The pancakes are irresistibly fluffy and pillow-soft with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. They are so delicate that they are served with two forks as part of Flipper’s signature experience.
Sakura Keiseki Pancakes, Seasonal limited edition $26.80

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fluffiest pancakes ever! Ordered the Kiseki Pancake with maple butter cream and an Ice Matcha. The pancakes were so fluffy you could easily polish off 3 in a row. The ice matcha was also very good with just the right amount of sweetness. Although it’s pricy and you’d have to wait (between 15-30min) for the pancakes, it’s worth the wait. You’ll be rewarded with absolute deliciousness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been wanted to try but always encountered queue at orchard outlet.
Tried seasonal menu (lemon), it's appetizing with the sour-sweet taste. Cameralised banana was nice too.
Souffle pancakes were fluffy as expected. The texture was soft at each bite, unlike some other brands I've tried. Almost like the taste in Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit disappointing considering the pancakes are overcooked. If you had never tasted the original from Omotesando, you wouldn’t know the correct texture. Supposed to eat with 2 forks but here 1 fork is good enough as it’s pretty solid. For the price, it is not worth at all if it doesn’t taste the same although still fluffy but not melt in the mouth as it was supposed to

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent pancakes from flippers. We came on an evening after having dinner elsewhere, the restro is quite filled and we had to wait around 15 min to be seated.
Service was pretty quick and efficient overall
Had the strawberry pancakes, surprised that it was fluffy and light, it’s almost like eating thin air.
Good thing is it’s not too filling so it’s a good dessert
